Coulson's Towing

My son was locked out of his car at school today I called coulsons towing for them to go help my son they told me what it would cost and it would be about 20 minutes till they got there I was there with my son waiting and to our surprise there they were within 20 minutes they were there and for was unlocked the gentleman was very polite and just wonderful I paid him and he was on his way I was very very happy with ctr service I will use them again if ever in need top notch and courteous ty ctr you have a customer for life and I give I 5 stars on your service

My insurance company contacted Coulson's Towing of Dillsburg, PA, when I was stranded on a Saturday afternoon a few miles from my house and coordinated the tow. A recorded message (presumably from my insurance company) stated the tow company name, telephone number, and estimated arrival time, leading me to believe I would be waiting for an hour and a half. They also said I would receive another call when the tow operator arrived on the scene.



I was pleasantly surprised when Coulson's Towing appeared half an hour later and did announce their arrival with a phone call. The operator worked quickly and efficiently to secure my vintage car and was very competent at navigating the tight turns and less than optimal parking situation within my new construction neighborhood. In no time, my car was properly unloaded and secured within my garage. Towing is included within my policy, so I can't comment on pricing. However, I chose to give a healthy tip for the good service.



I was very pleased with the actual towing service, but subtracted one star for the overwhelming number of follow ups (daily) requesting that I immediately post a review, even though I had agreed to post one by week's end. On the third business day, I was asked to post the review by the following day, which was very inconvenient, given my extremely demanding schedule this week, that this is a low priority for me, that this is a favor to the company, and that as the customer, I had already promised to provide the review within 5 business days (which would have been convenient for me), but that was apparently unacceptable to the company.



Apart from this, overall, I would say that being stranded can be a stressful situation, but with Coulson's Towing, the actual tow experience itself met my quality expectations, exceeded my timing expectations, and the operator performed the task with competence, making the break-down experience dramatically less harrowing.

I needed a lock out service and Coulson's service was excellent. They were professional, friendly and affordable. They arrived quickly and was I fully satisfied.

If I could I would give it a zero. Rude, impatient and unprofessinal service. Worst roadside assistance expierence in my life. Do not use this company if you value honesty and your money. My car was impounded after an emergency breakdown and this is the company my insuarance sent out. They would not let us ride with them so we had to find alternate means to get home.Had to wait over an hour for them to even get there in the cold. Then impounded my car because it took too long - 30min to get them cash. all of this over $20. Contacted manager and was unsympathetic and unwilling to waive impound cost. Will be reporting to the insurance company and better business bureau. Trust me find someone else. Don't waste your time and money with them. Horrible horrible expierence.
