We have family in Dexter and have stayed at the Dexter Inn several times. It's a bit outdated, but the rooms are clean and the service is great. The last time we stayed, the air conditioning didn't work in our room and I called the front desk. 2 staff members immediately came up and looked at it then put us in another room. They were very appologetic. My only problem was the smell of smoke in the hallways and the front counter since smoking is permitted there. We don't smoke and this was very offensive to us. But all in all, this is a good place to stay if you need something inexpensive and don't mind the dated appearance (and smoke smell).
