Me and my friends we went to BLEU last night and of course the vodka they say they serve its not the same they pour you some cheap vodka in a Graygoose bottle Terrible, Crooks.
We know the taste of Belveder and GrayGoose and what they serve its not even close to compare! and they charge 11$ for a regular drink.
Music for most was Hip-Hop with a techno DJ, DjGodfather i never write reviews but, the experience we had there was just terrible, i will never go there again.

Being a part of this venue since 2004 it pained me to read the reviews some posted above. Since late 2010 BLEU has reopened and the past is the past. The club has undergone a major interior renovation, its simply beautiful inside. The two side bars are gone freeing up more space for SEATING. The side VIP booths are extended providing for actualy personal space and a very comfortable way to enjoy the night as opposed to how crunched the earlier versions were. A huge main bar greets you as you walk in and provides service to many more people at the same time. The back main bar is still there providing even more drink service. The DJ booth is in front of the back mani bar and at ground level providing a perfect connection to the dancefloor. The upstairs VIP is remodeled and wide open with its own full service bar. BLEU continues to have the sexiest and most outgoing bartenders in the business, also, always the best at what they do and have fun while doing it. The lighting has been vastly improved and with gorgeous white sheeting from ceiling to floor on each wall its truly a world class feel inside. BLEU continues to support the best local dance music talent along with major EDM acts from across the globe while also supporting the areas most popular Saturday night (Mainstream/dance) format with over 500 beautiful people week after week. BLEU is now 21+ and run with the utmost professionalism. I encourage anyone, even those who've clearly had bad nights before to come see what the new BLEU is all about.

I have been to Bleu twice. First time was horrible, and second time was worse. I got there promptly at the time the doors opened and waited 50 minutes in below freezing temperatures. I went to coat check (and this is when the club just opened for the night). They said it was full and it would cost $20 to find space. The lady at the check in (yeah they just had one lady checking people in) and she forgot our VIP bands.
The club was filled beyond capacity. The club has a 600 person capacity, and they had easily 1000 people in it. Getting a drink? Forget about it, unless you have 20 minutes to spend waiting. Dancing? Nice try no room. The patrons? The club is a 18+ so there are a bunch of minors everywhere and they look like they took one too many pills.
The tickets said open till 4 A.M and the club closed at 2. Then to top off the night the club lost my coat and after trying to get some sort of resolution they said if I continued on they would call the police.
Worst club ever.

The staff is rude. You'll die of thirst before you get a drink. I was able to get one drink in and hour and a half. The sound system is horrible and is pushed to its limit. the buzzing in the speakers gave me a headache. My ears were ringing for several hours. If it were an outdoor atmoshpere that type of blasting sound wouldn't be so bad. But loud doesn't mean good. And good doesn't have to be LOUD! I will never go back and I would never recommend that anyone go to the Bleu Room NOT-THAT-GREAT an experience.

I have to fully agree with the others reviews. The sound system alone is no longer a good enough reason to go to Bleu. I too have waited in line outdoors in the dead of winter even though I had purchased my tickets ahead of time. The staff is rude and behaved as if I was lucky that they where serving me my drink, which by the way was overpriced. The was no space to sit down unless you wanted to pay for VIP. It is sad that we now have to pass on our favorite DJs because they choose to play at Bleu.

Bleu has by far the best sound system in Detroit!! Whenever one of my fav dj's is in town- they almost always play a bleu and the music is unbelivelable (you have to like techno, trance, house, etc.) I wish the bar was a good as its dj's that come there though. Drinks are way overpriced-not even good for the amount you pay for them, parking is ridiculous but that is how most of Detroit is, and yes- you do have to wait in line whether you buy pre-sale tickets or not. If Bleu worked on pleasing more of the customers that go in there- it would be the best bar in Detroit, but if another bar comes in that can host dj's with a sweet sound system- this place is done.

I paid for VIP tickets to see Above & Beyond. They still made us wait over half an hour in subzero weather. While waiting we were harassed by a homeless man. Once I got in they told me they wouldn't check my coat because it was full. However the girl told me, ""I can make an exception if you pay $20."" Are you kidding me? I had to carry my coat around all night or when I put it down had to watch it therefore I couldn't really dance. The sound system was not all that. I drove over three hours to see Above & Beyond and this is the way they treat me. I don't think so. If you are into trance do not go here. Go to see them in Chicago at Vision or Glow in DC.

I went to Bad Boy Bill over the weekend and was not pleased that they made people with pre sale tickets wait over a half an hour to get in. What is the point of pre sale? People who waited in line paid cover and got in just the same. Bar service was very slow and the drinks were not good for the price. They also ran out of bottled water. Bad Boy Bill was awesome. I hope he chooses another venue next time.
