Dr. Brunkhorst developed his interest in sports medicine while competing as an NCAA Division I athlete during his undergraduate education at Iowa State University. Prior to joining DMOS in 2015, he also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army.

He uses the latest techniques and technology to perform simple and more complex hip replacement procedures. He has published both textbook chapters and scientific journal articles on the research he has done with respect to the knee and hip.

Dr. Grundberg specializes in all foot and ankle injuries which includes but is not limited to plantar fasciitis, diabetic nail care, ingrown toenails, and other athletic injuries. She has a passion for helping others get back onto their feet. In Dr. Grundbergâ€™s free time she enjoys recreational activities with her family. This includes snow skiing, water skiing, boating and traveling.
