        The Surfrider Resort is nestled atop a bluff overlooking Fogarty Creek and the Pacific Ocean, located just two miles north of Depoe Bay, between Lincoln City and Newport. While at the Surfrider, visit Depoe Bay, the world's "Smallest Harbor" famous for whale watching or reserve a trip for deep sea fishing. Visit Newport for the outstanding Oregon Coast Aquarium, Ripley's Believe it or Not and the wax Museum. We are within a few miles of golfing, kayaking and waterfall hiking trails. There is no need to leave the Surfrider at all to simply watch the resident pod of whales play, eagles soar, seals nap, and the sun sets over the ocean from the comfort of your room or the restaurant and bar. The beach access takes you down to search for agates, make a beach fire and watch the waves crash into the unique rocky outcropping.         Great views, good beach access, nice service

        I recently spent a week here and thought it was time to put up a review. I have actually stayed at the Surfrider Resort numerous times over the last couple of years. Their rooms are nice and well stocked, extra pillows, blankets, and a fan.



        This last trip we stayed in one of their cottages... no real view of the ocean but directly across from the swimming pool, a kitchen stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, everything you'd need in a kitchen except the food. The local grocery store is just a little ways down 101. So it made for a nice stay.



        The restaurant is great, I spent several mornings working from the restaurant. Wi-Fi access in the rooms various by room, but the restaurant had a good signal and the view over the ocean made getting things done a bit more palatable.



        I will stay here again.

        Beautiful Location

        Surfrider sits in an amazing location on the Oregon Coast. This is a great spot for a romantic dinner, but I prefer breakfast here. The food is good and it's wonderful to sit and watch the surf as you eat.
