Greasy, but good if that's what you're into

We went to Wishbone because we live nearby and just wanted a nice Friday night dinner out after a long week of work. This is not the place for a young couple, like us, to go relax after a long work week. First, the place was full of grease and it made my eyes water and burn and my hair stink! Second, there are not a lot of options if you're not particularly into the greasy fare. If you are into the greasy fare, like my fiance, then you're in for a treat. I on the other hand found nothing appetizing. Third, no booze. I understand it is a family restaurant, it's in the title, but I was shocked to not see even a draft beer! Fourth, noisy (mainly because lots of families with young kids are there). The service was excellent and like I said, my fiance really enjoyed his food, because he likes that kind of stuff. He had the chicken and raved about it. So if you're not looking for a healthier meal, cocktail, and relaxation, the service, prices and chicken are great.

Simply put, Wishbone has the very best fried chicken in Denver. Crispy, delicious and meaty. We live in Highlands Ranch and still make the drive once a month. This family run business also provides wonderful service. On top of all that the price is reasonable.

Wishbone is one of the best chicken places a restaurant can offer. Not only is the food delicious and reasonably priced, but the service is what makes going worth it. From the minute you walk in, you're greeted with smiling faces until you leave with a full belly! The service is so fast and the selection is so great. You can find anything you want at Wishbone. It's a great place to satisfy everyones cravings!

Good chicken, superior service

The chicken is very good. Not many places can do chicken like these folks do. But the thing that keeps me coming back is the friendly and superior service. Out of the last 7 or 8 years that I have been going I have only had poor service 3 times. The folks are friendly and very professional. In an age where service no longer has much meaning, this place rates at the top along with places like the Broker. So if you like chicken and like being treated like royalty this is the place to go. But go early, during peak times it can take awhile to get seated.
