I also have been with Summit Respiratory for about 2 years. No one ever showed to service my oxygen concentrator. I thought I was getting oxygen but when I went into the E.R. last week they put me on oxygen. I then realized that the machine was not working. Then 2 nights ago the service needed light came on. I called and I was told that someone would be out but they couldn't tell me when. I mentioned that the machine was about 15 years old and I wanted one that was more up to date I was told that they didn't know what they had in inventory and they were not sure if I could another machine? I am disabled, on Medicare (SSDI) and have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Summit Respiratory knows this. I got the certain impression that they don't care. All they want is money. My next call tomorrow will be to the Colorado Department or Regulation (DORA) as well as the Attorney General. I will move to another company but will make sure that are won't be as bad as Rotech (Summit Respiratory). Rotech's phone number is 866-418-2772. Summit Respiratory is 303-481-0187. Stay away from this company. They will take all of your money and give you outdated, broken down equipment. This company seems to be incompetent but don't let that fool you. It's just a scam to not fulfill their obligation to its patients. Nuff said.
Poor service when ordering supplies. I made a request four times for tubing for my nose. I receive the green tubing efficiently which I didn't need and called back four times to get the proper supplies. When I didn't receive them, I spoke to the so-called customer service person Christie, I was met with a rude, confrontational person who informed me it is all my fault. I was send supplies with female connectors that won't connect to the female connectors on the tubing. I am fed up and have asked my doctor to give me another provider. A few simple polite questions would overcome some of the problems, but there is no excuse for not filling an order four times.
This is the most unorganized company, I was in UC Hospital for a procedure and need O2 to get back home in Montrose, CO. It took them five hours to have the tanks delivered to the hospital, and when the delivery person arrived he was completely clueless. When we returned home and I called them on Monday to arrange for pick up of the tanks they had no record of me in the system. It took me three days of tracking to find a local company that would pick up and who knew who I was. Not what you want to do after having surgery.
This company is unprofessional and impossible to work with. They insisted that they are incapable of delivering O2 in a tank for a child who needed it on demand, but had to deliver an oxygen concentrator along with their respiratory specialist who absolutely had to do a full assessment of my child and give me instruction on the concentrator use. I refuse to pay (and it does not matter that technically, the insurance pays for it-this is precisely why the healthcare costs are the way they are) for services that I don't need and that the actual MD, not their "specialist," has NOT ordered. I have never had this problem with any other company. This is an absolute rip-off that wasted hours of my and my pediatrician's time. I am really unsure how they are still in business. I am hoping not for too long.
Had my sleep study then couldn't get these idiots to deliver my O2 for a MONTH. Then the air machine they brought BROKE and I cab't get them to bring a new one. They said they'd deliver between 4 and 7 and AGAIN they are no call/no show. GOD FORBID i needed this to survive and it was a life threatening emergency.... AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
Just another business with no follow through. I was told they received all insurance paperwork and was given an appt..(but they said they did not get a list od my preferred equipment from Sleep test)!
I got appt and next day cancelled cause they had to order my bipap model..would call back in a couple days.
Now its been 2 weeks and nothing.
No one follows up or cares.. No thanks
