South Suburban Taxi
12/15 called at 5:40 to order a taxi for pick-up at my hotel at 6:40, so an hour's notice. Was told I just needed to tell the driver where I wanted to go. 6:45, taxi had not arrived. Called the company and they told me they had nobody available and could not give me a time when they might have someone, saying they were backed up since 6AM. I had an appointment at 7:00 so was stranded. Lady hung up on me when I asked what I was supposed to do. Do NOT use this company. Useless isn't a strong enough word.
My car is in the shop and I have tried two different times, yesterday and today to get a cab to take me to the shop, 4 miles away. Yesterday I waited 2 hours before I called an cancelled. The shop would have been closed by then. Today I waited 2 1/2 hours before cancelling. The service is the worst. I will never call this cab company again.
I called this evening from a bar in lone tree wanting to get a ride back to my house. I don't know the EXACT address of the bar but its cross streets. I told the dispatcher this and she hung up on me!!! Who ever is working the phones tonight is appalling! I am an event manager for a hotel in the area and will tell them not to use your service. I try and send you as much business as possible but after this... No.
I live downtown and when I call other companies they accommodate this. I didn't even have a chance to say anything else. I am truly sorry but after working in customer service for 10+ years, I can't ever imagine actually doing this.
So I used this company on August 18th. I Drive truck so when I am not at home I rely on taxis. I used them because I had some medical issues. The first pick up was fine. But after my doctors visit when I called the lady I talked to was very rude and impatient, after I gave her the address she just kept asking things like, oh is it about a mile from here?, and no matter how many times I said I don't know I am from Seattle she just kept asking odd questions. Finally one of their drivers overheard and just gave me a ride to the pharmacy. Now when I needed to return to where I was staying I called 45 minutes before I needed the cab, knowing that there was a Broncos game. I called roughly 1.5 hours before the game got out and was quoted a 45 minute wait. At an Hour and a half I called back asking when a cab would be there. This gentleman appologized and said they would get someone right to us. Well another hour and a half later, so 3 hours after I placed the call no taxi, so now my girlfriend and myself are sitting in the cold outside because its 1:00 in the morning. So I call again and get the same line. Finally after 3 hours and 45 after I placed the calla cab arrived. now I can understand the wait, but I don't appreciate being told 45 minutes and then waiting 3 hours and 45 minutes. So all in all the dispatching for this company is very poor. The drivers on the other hand are great and I can not say enough good things about them.
