Worst Customer Service EVER!
My husband bought me a gift certificate for a pedicure at Namaste Salon. One Saturday morning, I called Namaste salon six times, several hours apart, double-checking the phone number on both their website and business card in an attempt to schedule an appointment. Every time, I got a fax machine. So, I tried to go down there in person to redeem my gift certificate but no dice. No one could give me a pedicure. Frustrated, I asked for my money back. Except the lady behind the desk told me that because there wasn't a gift certificate invoice number written on the certificate, I would need to speak to a manager about getting my money back. I left my name and number to have a manager call me. No one called me. Several weeks later, I emailed the manager, Rick, to explain the situation. My husband?s bank statement can prove he purchased the certificate. He simply said my husband could redeem the gift certificate for product.
Tonight, my husband detoured on the way home from work to exchange the gift certificate for product. He picked up a $23 jar of hair product and they refused to give him change. He asked to speak to a manager, who also refused change.
All in all, it's just bad business practices to be so rude and disrespectful to your customers. Their poor customer service made what should have been a nice, pleasant, relaxing experience and made it a very drawn out, messy and unpleasant one. Just beware and DON'T waste your money on their gift certificates because you might not be able to use them and they don't honor them.
