I purchased my home through NACA back in 2021. At the time that I purchased my home I was 22 years old, many other programs weren’t geared to me, because of my lack of credit. Because I went through NACA I was able to only put down my minimum required funds and then NACA paid the remainder of my closing costs. The process is stressful but if you stick with it it pays off in the end ( from start to finish I began my jurist with NACA around the spring of 2020 and then closed on my home in May 2021 ( took a six month break because I had to establish a savings pattern).

This business should come with a warning label. I have been dealing with Naca three years, over a loan they assured me would be quick and easy. In this amount of time I have had 8 different counselors, no phone calls to inform me that my counselor quit. I just found out my last one quit over two months ago and no one contacted me as usual. They do not return phone calls or emails and I am going to report them to the BBB. They are holding up my automotive business because they say not to aquire or request any loans while they are supposedly helping me get a home loan. I would suggest going to a loan shark instead, the logic being way less complicated and painless.
