The origins of the Hellerstein and Shore, P. C. law firm date back to 1927 when Louis A. Hellerstein opened his law office in Denver, Colorado. Louis began representing creditors and became deeply involved with the first laws regulating commercial and consumer loans in Colorado. Later in his career, he also represented clients in the formation of the first condominiums west of the Mississippi, and in the establishment and management of complex trust and estate plans. He authored Chattel Mortgages in Colorado which was first published in 1940. Following a career in a family-owned retail business, Martin H. Shore joined the firm in 1970. Janice Hofmann Clark joined the firm in 1978, and David A. Shore, now the firm’s President, joined the firm in 1990.

Today, the firm’s attorneys enjoy the history and experience of over 85 years’ of providing a wide range of services to creditors and other businesses and individuals.
