When Ed Fiore began contracting for small earthwork and landscaping projects in 1959, it was his vision to be the best at his business. Fiore & Sons strives to give our clients a clear picture of what the job will take to complete even when working with incomplete or preliminary documents. We have a reputation for being value conscious, providing properly valued services not just low price. Fiore & Sons uses the latest technology to increase the accuracy of it's' estimates, which can also benefit clients with additional cost comparison tools. Using our extensive experience in grading and site work, as well as state-of-the-art computer-aided design (CAD) tools, Fiore & Sons is able to analyze existing and proposed site conditions and offer optimized grading plans. While performing a quantity take-off for one project, Fiore & Sons found that the site was not balanced, but actually required 20,000 CY of imported soil. Working with client input, Fiore & Sons re-designed the site so that it balanced. The revised plan resulted in no significant alterations to drainage, volume or velocity and was quickly approved by the regulatory agencies involved. The implementation of this plan resulted in a $50,000 savings.
