I was a long time customer of the Peoria store until today May 15, 2006. The reason I am no longer a customer is because I purchased a draw string pony tail on the previous Saturday, and was told that if 1. the item was in its oringinal packaging and 2. I had my reciept, I could return the item. When I attempted to return the item, I was told this was not the store's policy to return hair. I then told them of my Saturday purchase and asked what I could do, I was told that again this is the store's policy. I attempted again to get an explanation as to why this is a policy, because most items in the United States are either exchangeable or returnable at some point. The gentlemen at the counter just repeated once again that this is the store policy. It wasn't until I contacted the Downing store that I have sinced learned that this policy is in place because of Health risk. However, no one at the store could explain this to me in the store nor was it posted at the counter!
