I am not one to write a review, but this place deserves one. :) We took a short trip from CSprings up to Denver. We chose a hotel that allowed pets, so as to not leave our dog at home. Not really ever traveling with the dog, we found out that we could not leave him in his kennel, in the room while we went to the zoo. I called Camp Bow Wow (now that I was in a pinch) to find out what I needed to do to have him stay there for a day. Again, this was last minute so I didn't have any of his papers regarding shots. Amber, plus additional staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I got the number to the vet, they called and had the paper work faxed to them. Upon arriving to drop off our dog, they 'interviewed' him and slowly adjusted him to the other pooches that were visiting that day. All the while, we watched on a camera to see how things were going. They were so patient with him, since this was his first time around so many dogs, PLUS any kennel-like facility. He did wonderful! We enjoyed our day at the zoo without worrying about him...and picked up a VERY tired, but happy pup!!! :) They supplied me with tons of great information and we left with tons of smiles. Thank you so much!!! Anyone that is in the Denver area and needs to find a place to put their lovable furry-family member...I HIGHLY recommend the staff and facility of Camp Bow Wow off Brighton Blvd. We hope that Mingo can come play with the other 'campers' again.

After a completely HORRIBLE experience at U Lucky Dog which is near by, I was so happy to find City Bark and a daycare that actually cares about the dogs. City Bark is really clean and the employees seem to know what they are doing. They were really friendly too. They remembered my dogs name after only being there once and they seem to have training knowledge and helped me with the separation anxiety I thought we would have to live with forever. I recommend them to everybody at the dog park and often hear really fantastic things about them from complete strangers. Do yourself a favor and check them out...they are by far the best in NW denver.
I started bringing my puggle to For the love of dog 3 years ago and we still never miss a week. She has become a better dog because of playing with new dogs all the time and meeting new people, as in the wonderful staff they have. If you know puggles, you know they can get overweight easily. She has managed to stay slim, actually svelte in my opinion! The dogs dont get crated ever during the day, they get to play inside and out and it's always super clean and inviting. I have recommended many of my friends and co-workers there and every time I do they give me a free day. You can't beat that!
