Extremely Sati fied Cu tomer !!

Anyone who know anything about bird nutrition and care or maintaining a well-organized bu ine operation will find African Grey to be exemplary in both of the e. The owner, Karen, ab olutely excel in each of the e area ! It i no wonder that he receive glowing report ...more from the Board of Health and Agriculture. My hu band and I owned an extremely ucce ful ix-million dollar bu ine for over 16 year , and he ha helped bu ine owner acro the country open and operate ucce ful tore . I wa a graduate profe or at a major univer ity where my teaching included topic of management and interacting with the public. With the background both of u have, we ee many po itive thing about Karen and African Grey. The fir t time my hu band walked into African Grey, he wa very impre ed with the large and diver e inventory of bird , toy , nutritiou food, cage , and educational material on proper care and feeding of bird . Many bu ine owner are frequently ab ent from their tore , leaving everything to a manager and calling in periodically to ee how thing are going. Not Karen. She i at her tore from nearly unri e to undown even day a week. That' devotion and wi e tore owner hip! Many hour before her tore open each day, he ha employee cleaning floor and bird cage and putting fre h water out for all of the bird . While thi i happening, Karen i preparing food for the bird and formula that he hand-feed to the baby bird . The food mo t of u feed our familie cannot hold a candle to the nutritiou food that Karen prepare and feed to her bird daily: fre h vegetable (or fruit ) of numerou kind are pureed together and combined with a wide variety of cooked grain . She ha exten ively explored the pH value and mineral content of variou ource of water and give her bird only water that a ure a healthy pH balance for them. Karen i con tantly available to her cu tomer to help with concern about bird health (emotional and phy ical). She deal exceptionally well with the public and i very good at helping her cu tomer find a bird that i ju t right for their home and family ituation, rather than teering everyone to only high-priced bird . When cu tomer return frequently for many year to have their bird groomed, Karen' eye light up when he ee the bird come in. She love to follow the growth of the bird that he ha o lovingly cared for before they went to be with their human familie . Everything I am writing about here I have experienced fir t-hand. We have owned two bird that we got from Karen; both very healthy, happy, and playful. Our fir t bird had lived a long and healthy life for her breed, and la t year while we were traveling out of tate, he pa ed away. We were not returning to Colorado for three more month and mi ed the companion hip of our bird, o we vi ited numerou bird hop to con ider getting another bird, only to conclude that, without a doubt, we wanted to get our next bird from Karen at African Grey. There were no tore and no tore owner among the many in the tate where we looked that even came clo e to the ervice and knowledge and care provided by Karen. She helped u elect the right bird for u and allowed me to come in each morning to hand-feed our new baby, who i now growing, learning new thing , and very playful and healthy. Karen' work at African Grey i truly a labor of love and ervice for anyone who i open and capable of eeing the high- tandard of care and well-operated bu ine that he ha been o ucce ful with for many year . Vi it African Grey and give your elf the chance to ee the wonderful thing and feel the "alive" and joyful and caring energy that o many other have experienced there! Thi tore i truly a gem with an owner that i beyond pecial and extraordinary in her knowledge of and care for bird !!view less

Excellent, 5-Star Care and Love !

I o TOTALLY di agree with the prior a e ment of Pet on Broadway. I took my beloved cat, 'Jo hua, there for a few year while hi kidney were lowly deteriorating. Dr. Scolnick explained what wa happening, and how ubcutaneou fluid could enable Jo hua to live a bet...moreter life. He al o received PRN med for arthriti when hi leg would get tiff. Each time I called about a concern, getting another bag of fluid -- anything -- I wa greeted and treated with concern, compa ion and ye , love. The taff at Pet on Broadway alway cared for Jo hua in the manner that I did. I even put a little Santa hat on him one Chri tma and gave Dr. Scolnick a picture in a frame. He now i proudly memorialized, along with many other pet who have pa ed on, on a helf in the lobby re erved for pet who have died. The day Jo hua died, the taff couldn't have been MORE caring. He had been in pain and both of u got no leep the night before. Becau e the taff had gotten to know Jo hua o well, they were even crying -- everyone wa . I wa taken into their pecial room, and Dr. Aiken a ked me if I wanted to have Jo hua get a hot of morphine a he wa pretty agitated by the pain. It calmed him within a minute, and I wa able to hold my weet boy for a half an hour to ay 'Goodbye'. How many veterinarian would have that depth of compa ion? I feel that they are few and far between. Before Jo hua received hi final hot, one of the vet tech came in and did a paw imprint that I have and cheri h. I didn't a k her to do that. Jo hua' journey to the Rainbow Bridge couldn't have been more loving. Dr. Scolnick al o gave me a copy of the much-loved pro e, 'Rainbow Bridge'. Again, I didn't a k for thi . She gave it from the kindne of her heart. **************************************************************************** I now have a 14 yo female cat, Angel, who ha al o alway received excellent care at Pet on Broadway. Purrcy, my polydactyl orange tabby, joined our 'family' hortly after Jo hua' pa ing. When I went to vi it a friend in Texa the ummer before la t, Angel and Purrcy enjoyed a little cabin of ort where they could pa through the middle and vi it each other. I know that taff al o kept a log of how they were doing, eating, pooping/peeing, and ocializing. I NEVER worried, a I knew that they were in excellent hand . ***************************************************************************** I have one la t tory which i a te tament to how I feel about Dr. Scolnick -- I feel he i alway fair and hone t when it come to my pet and another pet I brought to her. Thi cat had been attacked by a pit bull and wa unable to walk the next morning. I told the owner about Pet on Broadway. Luckily, the cat' leg wa ju t wollen and he received medication to clear it. Dr. Scolnick told the owner that he did not recommend x-ray and thought the medication would get thi weet cat good a new in a few day . It touched my heart that Dr. Scolnick even gave thi kitty a ki on the no e before I took him back home. So, I certainly have a much different opinion about Pet on Broadway. We are all entitled to each of our but me, I'm ticking with Pet on Broadway. They love my pet and have alway provided the be t care. I hope that thi po t will extingui h the one- tar rating that thi animal ho pital ha o unfairly received. view less

Mile High Muttsdrexelsmom rated

I've been a client/cu tomer for almo t 7 year and I COMPLETELY TRUST Mile High Mutt with my baby. I've been bringing my dog to MHM ince 9/2006 when I moved to Denver, fir t to their old location on Larimer, then to Park Hill where they had a mall, econd location, and ...morenow to the nice big pace on Che tnut, and truly love thi place! I don't know what I'd do without them, and more importantly, my dog LOVE going! I only have 1 dog right now, a terrier mix I re cued a few year ago, and work long hour a couple of day a week (a an attorney; it goe with the territory). While I have a fully fenced yard and doggie door at home I can tell my little boy till get a bit lonely/bored during the work week, o I take him to MHM at lea t 2 day where he can get a break in hi routine and ome companion hip (he actually like the people better than the dog and he LOVE LOVE LOVES hi Marcu ! - he literally get uper-excited when he ee him, run right over and will not do anything el e until he get ome lovin'!). On the rare occa ion when he doe n't go at all I can tell (and not in a good way), o I really make an effort to get him there, and on-time o he can become part of the pack early on in the morning. (When I wa bringing him in later, becau e I had worked late the night before and wanted to leep in, he wa having a hard time fitting in with the other dog - "new kid" yndrome - o getting him there earlier, even though it bum me out, work better for him, the other dog and the taff.) I al o really appreciate the fact that I can pay a mall late fee and pick him up before 9p. Mo t other place clo e at 7p. There are ome day when he come home melling a bit like pee (by no mean plea ant but not unexpected if you have ever watched dog interact - he wa likely getting a little too clo e checking out the action!) but ea ily remedied by wiping him down with a wet towel. I tune-in frequently via the webcam and like watching the taff gently interacting with the dog and allowing the dog to play, again gently, among t them elve . Can you imagine the chao if the dog and/or taff really roughhou ed and they all got riled up at the ame time??? Yike ! And I never thought about thi but a vet friend pointed it out - "it conveniently located acro the treet from the Denver Police Department' vehicle maintenance garage." Huh? I didn't get it. He told me a lot of time kennel /doggie day care get broken into after hour and dog get tolen. But not to re ell or for breeding, but to u e a "bait" for dogfighting.:( He know fir thand becau e he' the one who get to try to titch them back up afterward. (I didn't want to believe that kind of thing goe on, but adly it doe .) I can't alway be with my little D-Man or find a friend to watch him, and everyone i going to have different expectation /experience , but for almo t 7 year MHM ha been and continue to be the next be t thing. view less
