Well not sure about the bad reviews but I have had excellent service work done by Master Transmission. Case in point: My wife and were going on vacation and when I picked up my 40ft 5th wheel noticed the transmission was acting up as in needed a rebuild. 4 days before leaving.... I was in trouble for sure. I called around and everyone started at around 3000 for a rebuilt to be replaced. I talked to Dave and he told me they would pull and rebuild the original for around 2 grand. He then talked to me about it being the original regular duty transmission for my 2003 Dodge 3500 diesel, and recommended rebuilding it to the more heavy duty specs. I went along with his recommendation which added 400 more to the final price. Best part I dropped the truck off and it was returned complete in 3 days not delaying my vacation one bit. See I not only haul 13000 pound 5th wheel but I also have a 18ft enclosed car trailer which I max out around 7500 pounds 50% of the time I drive the truck. It is now 3 years later and the rebuild is going great 65,000 miles on it. Not one problem and I still have the original transmission just better parts in it now. I will return Master Transmission for my future needs and regular service on all my transmissions. These guys know what they are doing and I am proof of it. As far as one review slamming Dave for his work on another page. I can tell you that I had my work done when he had the Transmission Depot in Carrolton and he still has the same phone number when I called him for my required service. Does this sound like a guy that runs off from his customers? Not to me........

1997 Mitsubitshi Montero Sport. Searched for a transmission place that would tell me exactly what could be wrong with my P1750 check engine light that says I had a problem with my solenoid assembly malfunction. I had offers to rebuild my solenoid assemly but never was told that they the code was just really telling me that my transmission needs rebuilding from wear. I had 182,000 miles on it. Fluid was dark and smelled like it was burnt. Found Master Transmission and spoke with the manager and he just completely made me feel at ease and trusted in him for some reason. Since I was retired I was in a fixed budget and again the manager assured me that he would repair what the transmission needed and I would be happy with the transmission and the cost. Lastly I am very pleased with my transmission and the smoothness of my shifter...its smoother than it was before. I totally trusted the manager and it paid off for me. I totally recommend this shop for your transmission needs. 5 stars :)
