I have taken 5 doggies and 2 kittens to be neutered or spayed at the Denton location. They did an amazing job, you can barely see a scar. The staff was awesome. They did better then an actual vet clinic that I took my foster doggies too. That vet left a horrible scar and it looks hacked up. I definitely trust the vet at the Denton location.

Went in to spay my 8 month old Akita. She weighed 79.06 lbs. They should have turned me away. Please, if you have a large breed dog, don't risk their life by taking then there. Needles to say not even 24hours later and she passed away.

i have 5 dogs and have been taking them to the denton location for years. I have nothing but high praise for what they do. Folks if you want a high touch experience with all of the bells and whistles, go to a full vet and pay 5 times as much. The vet at the Denton office is a very competent professional (he is an Aggie after all). Some of the negative reviews complain about pain meds, well I hate to break it to you but, yes you have to buy pain meds after a procedure its part of the deal. I have used all of their services and I really like their dental cleanings - great outcome at a 5th the price my regular vet charges.

Amazed at the negative reviews. Yes, there is a line waiting to get into the office in the morning. That helps with efficiency of making sure everyone is there on time and schedules can be adhered to accordingly. Yes, there were barking dogs. That happens everywhere. But the care. Wonderful treatment and friendly, caring people there. Obviously for the price you're not going to have tea and crumpets served while you wait :) But we go there for excellent care, not for humans to be pampered.

Don't go here!!!

I took my 6 month old kitten here on January 9th of 2015. They say to arrive between 8-9am on the day of your appointment. When you arrive to drop off your baby there is a long line of people filling out paperwork with nervous dogs and cats. The place is very loud between people talking, dogs crying in the back and the door swinging open and closed. This terrified my kitten. A very young technician come up to me and asked my last name and if my cat was male or female. She then put a tag on my crate with my last name and an F for female. Very organized system...

She then reassured me that my kitten would be safe and took her to the back of loud barking and crying animals. I left uneasy and waited a phone call to come get her. They called surprisingly early at 1130am and said she would be ready for pick up at 115pm. I arrive promptly excited to see my baby and hated what I saw. For kittens they ask you to provide a carrier.. I'm assuming they keep the cats in their carriers their entire stay. When I saw my kitten in the carrier she had a weird tarp like material, l similar to the bib which you wear during a hair cut, very tightly tied around her neck. This bib didn't allow her to lay down as she was coming down off her anesthesia and was miserable. They don't use stitches on the outside of the cut though they do use a tissue glue. She has been picking off the glue all week. I took her into a real vets office and they said the glue is horrible and can hold bacteria and only irritates the healing. If you want your pet to have a comfortable procedure go elsewhere.

My one year old German shepherd mix dog got spayed Monday morning at the Garland location. She was sent home with a wrapped bandage around her “to apply pressure” while my other dog was sent home without one. We were indicated to remove her bandage after 3 days, within 2 days it became loose we noticed blood plenty of it and this morning we called your vet tech and she advised to take her to your Denton location, or take her to my vet. Obviously I went with my vet which is also closer, only to see her incision was wide open! She is now on antibiotics overnight for infection and having another surgery tomorrow morning. Glue was used to close her incision (your paperwork had never mention GLUE, it said your staff used STUTURES) my vet could not wrap her head around the fact that glue was used to close her incision since she is a large breed, and was in heat! I’m glad for all the animals and people TCAP has helped but sadly I am not one of them. I hope TCAP takes more thought on how to properly close incisions, especially on large active breed dogs! Thank you for my $1000 vet bill!

The worst

They are terrible, the worse I have ever encountred, I took my cat to them to get her spayed, she came back with a long scar, longer that it was supposed to, they made me buy pain medecine, when I git home, the medecine container was empty, they sold me an empty bottle, two months later, my cat was in heat again, i was so mad, i called and they said to bring her back, i said hell no, i took her to a private clinic, paid 400$ For a second surgery, i was about to sue them

Terrible

This is a horrible experience. My dog has a scrotal ablation. TCAP Claims it was from him jumping around. I took him to another vet over the weekend, spent $145, and found out he was not properly sedated at all. TCAP Blames me for this issue. Do not take your dog there. They did a hack job and they want more money to fix it. UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY UPWARDS OF $400 TO HAVE YOUR ANIMAL NEUTERED, AND GO THROUGH ALL THE STRESS AND PAIN OF WATCHING YOUR POOR ANIMAL SUFFER, THEN BY ALL MEANS GO TO THIS PLACE. IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL AT ALL, YOU CAN GO TO ANYWHERE ELSE ANOTHER $150. SO, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY, GO TO AN EMERGENCY VET IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. YOU WILL PAY LESS THAN $400 TO HAVE YOUR POOR ANIMAL NEUTERED
