Never have had an issue going there. Been several times over the years and now they even have a system to schedule online. Love it. I don't want her to retire!

Overall

Since going through menopause 10 years ago and dealing with numerous hot flashes and night sweats daily, my face has showed an increasing redness. I have been to 2 dermatologists (Dr. Henry being the 2nd) concerning the redness. The first dermatologist stated it was rosecea but the Metrogel did not help. I was not ready for the laser treatment recommended so I did not return. After 3 more years of restricting my social activities due to the many concerned comments about my health, etc., I decided to go to another dermatologist. Dr. Henry informed me that she herself suffered from rosecea and had to wear a lot of makeup to cover it up. She also told me, not once but 3 times, that it was not life-threatening. She prescribed an antibiotic and did not see the need to schedule a follow-up. I got from this that I was wasting her time with a non-life-threatening problem. I told her my problem may not be life-threatening but it affected most aspects of my life so I considered it to be important. She did not. I will not be returning to see her.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

I have to say I was hopeful, even upon reading these other 2 reviews, that things would go smoothly. Unfortunately, I was completely irritated at the service that I received. The whole bit started out with the office staff not being able to find me in their system, had no record of my appointment, that I just made the day before, and questioning me if I had even made the appointment. Come to find out they spelled my name incorrectly... and had me scheduled the next day at the time of my appt. They couldn't even spell my name right, so how can I be confident that they had my appt right, obviously I couldn't. My condition is on that was causing severe discomfort and I was needing to be seen asap. I asked if they could just sqeeze me in and was told that would not work, b/c the doctor would not be able to spend the time with me she needed and diagnose me properly (*clear throat*, BS). Turns out they had an opening an hour and a half later than I was originally scheduled, that I had no choice but to take, considering my discomfort and my insurance being accepted there. So I came back and hour and a half later, only to sit in the waiting room for 45 mins, and when I was taken back to see the doctor she spoke so fast (in a hurry to get me out of there) appeared to have no genuine concern for my physically apparant discomfort, brushed off my condition as ho-hum/no big deal, failed to ask if I had any further questions or concerns, and sent me on my way in under 7 minutes...NOT IMPRESSED! *Caution: Proceed with LITTLE expectations.*

She calls herself a doctor???!

WORST experience of my life! Walked out in tears. I'm not too self-conscious about a lot of things, but my recent acne problem is obviously an issue to me otherwise I wouldn't have gone to the dermatologist in the first place. What was the first thing Dr. Henry asks me? Well, with a dumb found look on her face and seeming serious she asked "Your face is so oily. That's the problem. Do you put CRISCO on your face because it LOOKS LIKE IT TO ME??" Clearly I don't CRISCO my face. The disrespect towards NEW patients is ridiculous and the fact that she never apologized, laughed, said just kidding, nothing really upset me and ruined my first experience. Maybe some people have a personality to be spoken to like that, but I sure am not OK with cankle walking doctors treating me like that, especially when I am paying to hear their "expertise". It's no wonder her practice is in Denton, TX...

And 3 months later...I go into my family physician and he tells me ALL the prescriptions she prescribed me were not helpful to my issues AND they were too strong and broke down my immune system. Should you still decide to see this "doctor" beware...

Excellent

I was able to get in within a few days of calling. They had me in and out in less than an hour and the dr was very attentive. I would definitely recommend!

Good dermatologist, although the time in the waiting room was too long.

I've only been to her once, and she seemed fine. There aren't many dermatologists in Denton, and she's conveniently located. The only thing that was not good, was the wait. I got there a few minutes before my appointment time, and I had to wait in the waiting room for at least 20 minutes.
