Heritage Park Apts

I wish I could give this apartment complex a ton of negative stars. I have been in this complex for over three years and have never been an issue to anyone there. I've kept my rent paid up every single month on time and kept my apartment very clean and neat. I inform Melody, the apartment manager that I'm moving out at the end of October 2016 and will be handing keys over to her by November 1st. I called her twice to tell her and then typed up a letter and signed it with attached rent check for the whole amount for October. I have 30 days to gather my belongings to move them by law. I wasn't evicted and I was paid up. I had movers come move all of the big furniture so I only had all of my kitchen stuff i.e. pots, pans, dishes, clean stuff in the dishwasher, my towels, all of my kitchen mitts, cleaning supplies, food in the pantry/refrigerator, entry closet stuff which included an over $200 Shark vacuum cleaner, a red barely used microwave, tools, car cleaning materials, all of my cleaning supplies, $40 shower curtain rods in both bathrooms with the $25 shower curtains, my jewelry box with over $3,000 worth of jewelry in it, Tupperware, empty wine bottles that I planned on repurposing for décor in my new house, decorations that were in my closet, two big blue 5 gallon buckets, my hammer, nails, tanning lotions, plastic tubs for laundry, my It Works wraps(which are $40 a piece) and there was more items to mention... The so called "manager" claimed that there was nothing in my apartment and took it upon herself with the maintenance guys help to take all of my belongings out of my place of dwelling without even batting a damn eyelid. I still had 10 days to finish getting my things and she STOLE from me and my two girls!!! What kind of person/company does that?! Apparently they did a great background check on this fine gem of a "manager". I plan of turning over every piece of information I have to get this taken care of! Heritage Park and Lakeview is NOT a safe place!!

Apartment management and maintenance has gone to crap with new "Realtor" owners.... I've asked 4 times for my tub faucet to be checked - my gas bill has DOUBLED because hot water leaks out of the tub faucet all day. There is also water leaking thru the ceiling from the apartment above me. No one will come out to look at it. My neighbors haven't had hot water in over a month because their water heater is broken and leaking. It ruined their furniture and leaks thru the wall all Over the sidewalk. Don't live here!
