These people have no people skills. Dental Hygenist don't want to work but wants to get Paid. Complained about the Chair they had me in.
I didn't realize I had an out dated Insurance Card. So my account number was not right. When they called my insurance company tried to match the number with my member number. They couldnt find my number. It didnt match me and they found someone in their computer close to my age and name. So They gave Greenberg a new member number they thought was me. So Greenberg thought they had it corrected. This was my first apt. I had to fill out new patient paperwork also. My Birthdate was on that paper along with SS#. I called my insurance to get a new card to make sure I would have it correct. I made sure they had my BD and name correct on the card and my file. When I went to the second apt. I talked to the receptionist to make sure she had the correct info. She asured me that they did. I asked about my BD. Again she assured me everything was correct. Before seeing the surgeon I had to Pay $116. I was told my insurance hadn't paid yet. It had been 9 days since my first apt. so I said okay because I figured I had to pay at least 20%. Before I could leave the office I was made to pay additional $756. I asked why so much, they assured me that this was my portion. My insurance wouldn't pay. I received my new card with my name corrected on it. Insurance had a l instead of L the first time. Insurance told me it was a small L instead of capital L. I insisted it be change to capital because I didn't want any confussion. Little did I know there was a confussion with my name already and my birthdate. They had my nickname and a different middle initial for my name in my file. They also had me 8 months older thank you. Not. My insurance company paid out on a different client in my behalf because of all the confusion. On my 3rd visit I had I tried to give Greenberg's Receptions my new card so she can make sure they have the right insurance company. She refused. She kept saying they have the correct info and didn't need the new card. Before I could leave I was informed of a final additional payment of $632. So I paid that too. And then the billing said "oh I forgot to add this $41. payment. So I had to pay that too. Total payment so far was $1546.
3 month later I got a bill for an additional $601.60 =$2147.60. The total bill was $2275.60. Just found out my Insurance had paid $128.00 under the other Clients account instead of mine. Greenberg Dental owes me and my Insurance on their mess up. My insurance messed up by not giving me a new card the year prior. When I asked Greenberg for my file . I wanted all my info copied and given to me. I didnt receive all my info. I did how ever receive someones elses info. HIPAA Law was violated. I called my insurance and been in constant contact with them. Guess what folks my Insurance admitted to me that they also commited HPPA Violations. They gave Greenberg Dental the wrong clients info not mine. My Insurance paid on the wrong client. Greenberg Dental changed my info due to receiving wrong info from my Insurance. What a mess and I have to now try to get Greenberg to listen to me. Pay me back my over payment and give me all my info and close out my account. I have contacted BBB out this. I need a Lawyer and get a hold of Federal HIPAA Law inforcements.
