This is ridiculous, having to sign up for whatever this other stuff is to write a review for how crummy Quality Medical Products is. I received a phone call from a representative of their company in April, offering me diabetic test strips and a talking meter. The lady took down all my info...doctor name, number, insurance, etc and told me they will have to get the order from the doctor and will go from there. I received another phone call and was told the doctor ordered it and a back brace and that Medicare and Medicaid would cover all of it. I told the person that I cannot afford to pay any of it...I am on disability. I was reassured that the cost would be covered by insurance.
About a month ago, i received a bill from Quality Medical Products for $170 for the meter, test strips and 2 back braces (I only received one). I called them and spoke with somebody about it twice and was told that it would be taken care of and I would not have to pay. Today, someone from their billing dept. called me and told me that I have to pay it. I told her I would box all this stuff up (minus strips I used) and send it right back to them as I am not paying. They have lied to me about everything and it isn't right. The very snotty lady told me that she will note the account that I refuse to comply and pay for it!
Do NOT use this company! They do nothing but tell you the opposite of how things really are!!!
I apparently have to give this company a star rating...I personally would give them a negative 100, but I have to rate it, so it will be 1!!!
