I am writjng this to tell you about the wonderful experience we have had with Kin-Care !!!!! My wife is 54 now and a little over two years ago she had a very serious illness. During her stay in the hospital she had a blood clot in her lower left leg. A microscopic surgical umbrella was inserted and she was told she would need to wear support hose for the remainder of her life to help prevent another clot. She was given the long white ted hose that came above the knee to the mid-thigh. When she came home from the hospital we went to Kin-Care to purchase another couple of pair. As the days went on these hose became uncomfortable for my wife. It was difficult keeping them snug around the thigh and they would slip down. They also limited her in the types of garments she could wear. But, they were the only kind of support hose we knew of, and if the hospital had her use them, well, then maybe that was the kind she needed to wear. On our next visit to Kin-Care to purchase more ted hose, this was over a year ago, we were assisted by Greg Ullman. When we asked him about the Ted Hose, he asked my wife "how active are you?" When she askede why, he said that the Ted Hose were for people who were not very active and if she was active she should be looking into getting the compression hose, which gave her the support she needed, came to rest below the knee and came in a variety of colors. My wife was becoming more active, taking yoga classes and exercising at the gym which was very helpful in her recovery. Greg asked us to check with our primary care doctor first and see it was ok with him, and if it was to come back with a script from our doctor with the kind of tension he wanted her to have in the compression hose. Our primary said it was ok and so we returned to Kin-Care and purchased three pair of the compression hose, white, black and beige. WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MADE FOR MY WIFE !!!!!!!! It was like wearing socks again, only longer. Excellent support, with no worry about them drooping. They felt terrific on the leg. And with the different colors and how they fit on the leg, it allowed my wife to wear shorts and other garments she felt unable to wear with the other hose. As far as a combination health and quality of life issue, these compression hose made a big difference. We have since been back to Kin -Care to get more of these compression hose and will continue as long as we live here. It was a simple question, "how active are you?" posed to us by Greg. But it made a big difference for my wife. Greg took the time and had the knowledge and experience to help us in this situation. My wife needed the Ted Hose when she came out of the hosptal as she wasn't very active. But as she became active, the compression hose have made a big difference. I'm writing this to tell you about our experience and I'm sure Greg and his associates at Kin-Care will provide you with the same care.
