Upon graduating from Cornell University Law School in 1977, Ms. de Parry served as Assistant University Counsel for Cornell University from 1977 to 1980. Thereafter, she served as General Counsel for the University of Alaska Statewide System of Higher Education from 1980 to 1985. After moving to Florida in 1985, Astrid de Parry went to work for a large law firm in Orlando, focusing on general corporate practice and property law (1986 – 1988). After a one year stint as General Counsel and Project Coordinator for Park Equus, Inc. (which developed the Arabian Nights Dinner Attraction in Kissimmee, Florida), Ms. de Parry moved to DeLand in 1989 where she served as City Attorney for the City of DeLand until she started her own practice in 1993. Today, she combines this experience to offer clients skilled and knowledgeable legal representation in a broad range of general civil practice matters. The law firm of Astrid de Parry, P.A., is located in the heart of Downtown DeLand and is an authorized agent for Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund, Inc. Attorney Astrid de Parry is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and Appellate Mediator and has been a member of Rotary International since 1991.
