All for Show Not the Pets
There is much to be said about a non-profit organization that has a board full of rich lawyers who basically found a way around the laws to actually make a profit. And not for the dogs or cats for their own payrolls. If they are in such a need for money why do they sell donated items they could use for the pets? Why do they charge their volunteers for shirts? Why do they get puppies from out of state and bring them here to find homes when DeKalb County has so many unwanted or lost pets right here that need homes? There's no money in older dogs. Then they are on the streets begging for more money. Why hasn't anyone put this much effort into other area shelters and rescues that have been around forever? I'm all for saving the pets - not their pockets.

A Day Of Fun!
Here at this organization, you will find no lazy workers. Every one that helps out at Tails works to the 110%. I was able to exprience this through a community service project. I the morning there was no one sitting around. There was always someone doing laundry, cleaning cat colonies, cleaning dog kennals, wipping floors from animal accidents, playing with puppies or kittens, ect... At this Humane Society there is a lot of tender loving care. All the animals seem happy and healthy. Plus, all of the sick animals are being treated so that they can be put up for adoption. While working at Tails I found that they are in need of pet toys for play time, newspapers for kennels, blankets, and voluteers! PLEASE, come and donate some of these iteams so that Tails can remain in an orderly condition. If you would like to voluteer here go to there website and get into contact with their fabulous volunteer director, Cortney Marshall. Through my fun and puppy kissed face I can say that Tails deserves a five star rating not only for there cleanliness, but also for their drive to find good and loving homes for all of the animals that they work so hard to take care of.
