I've been dining here roughly 15 years. Steve is a great host and has an exceptional menu. Not your normal takeout experience.

We have been going to Pyng Ho for the last 17 years. Still our fav restaurant even though we now live in Braselton! Never have had a bad meal. Steve is an amazing chef and host. For an exceptional dining experinece close the menue and have him pick your meal for you. You will not be dissapointed. Don't be tricked by the decore, Pyng Ho is not your ordinary American Chines restaurant. Awesome Seafood. Make sure you leave room for the honey glazed banana desert.\r \r

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years. Steve and his family are top notch and you will not find any better Chinese anywhere in Atlanta. My wife and I drive from Buford to go to this restaurant with my family. This was my mom's favorite restaurant and still is my dad's. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant and it is worth the 35 mile drive. They can also prepare dishes that aren't on the menu and also deliver. Don't let the couple bad reviews keep you from trying this restaurant. You will always have a couple people that are never happy with life and will complain about everything.

Family owned family style restaurant that may have become a little too comfortable after twenty years. Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him? Nothing really seemed fresh. The crispy noodles were far from crispy No steam. steamed dumplings were thick - more gummy and boiled than delicate and delicious. The shrimp rolls were beyond crispy. The drinksand entrees were decent but the staff were very hurried and forgetful. the makings of a really nice chinese restuarant but felt stale and neglected

Although I occasionally need to send tepid food back for warming, never in my years of going out has the food sent back to the kitchen come back not significantly hotter after being reserved. This was true for 2 of the 3 dishes sent back in my party of 5. Despite the good appetizers and atmosphere, I will not be a return customer.

pyngho has always been a great place to sit down and have some excellent chinese food. the wait may be a little long but great things comes with great time. if u want fast food then go to a fast food restaurant. i am sick of people complaining about speedy service at other restaurants besides mcdonalds or other fast food restaurants. if u want it out that fast then i hope u want it to be cooked, so if you dont know how a good quality restuarant works please keep your fat mouth shut.\r \r i also dont undestand the big deal about the crispy noodles because they dont necessarily come with soup, u usually have to ask for it which isnt that big of a deal and most of the time the waiter or waitress brings it to me to my table. the best thing to do is to go and try this restaurant yourself. You be the judge of the food and i gurantee that you will not regret your choice.

I was really in the mood for Chinese this evening. Unfortunately, we tried a new place. It was nothing short of disappointing bordering on yucky. The egg drop soup didn't come with the crunchy things, the egg rolls were dry and mealy. The steamed dumplings were too much dough and not enough filling (and the filling was really bland). And my lo mein was gross - I couldn't even eat it. Oh well - we'll stick with what we know next time.

From the egg drop soup all the way down to the rice, Pyngho was a disappointment. Not only could I have made this at home, but it would have been twice as good. Seek elsewhere in Decatur for good Chinese.

All I can say is my Italian Grandmother makes better Chinese food. The fried rice was not fried at all, but steamed rice with the meat...very sad that we waited 40 minutes for that to be delivered when I could have steamed my own uncle bens in 10...

The owner, Steve, will often be found waiting on your table. He is a lot of fun and doesn't bite. Steve offers wonderfully prepared dishes that honestly are found at most Chinese restaurants in town and if you are stuck in a rut of always ordering Kung Pao Chicken or General Tso's whatever you wont be disappointed. The BIG difference is the specials and fresh seafood that Steve offers. They list all the fish that is fresh and the different preparations and sauces available (Steve will help those that are seafood challenged). Oh and don't forget to get an order of flash fried green beans. Just remember - stay on the menu have a great dinner - Off the menu and have a dinner to remember!

This is one of the many Chinese restaurants we've sampled in the area and while the food was ok to good the prices were way above what we expected for the level of food quality. Service was good but we found it to be a little too dark and quiet for kids. And the drinks are small for the prices that are charged. All in all, we have been to better Chinese restaurants for the money, especially on Buford Highway.

Pyng Ho is one of the best Chinese restaurants we've been to in awhile. The food is more than you expect from a chain restaurant and the service is wonderful. We wish this place would be filled with more customers as we've enjoyed it so much!!! Go treat yourself to a great meal.

We eat at Pyng's often. The food is exceelent and fresh. The orange chicken is the best we have had anywhere. Also might try the mandarin beef. Service is very fast and friendly. Chef Steve is always on hand with good suggestions. Quiet and friendly. The best chines in Atlanta. Easy parking.
