Very rude employees. No one in the place was willing to listen and look back on my dogs chart that we go there twice a yr for the same allergies. I ordered his every 6 month meds off 1800 pet meds to save $100+ and the vet denied it. They want us to bring him in and pay the office visit. I hot the feeling they care more about money than the health of my dog. I am disappointed and bothered my dog went to a vet that didn't care about his health.
So I Went To Caputo Animal Hospital On N Telegraph In Dearborn Heights After I Read The Good Reviews And Had The Wonderful Experience Of A Very Welcoming Staff And The Best Doctor..My Cat Had Not Walked On His Front R Leg For A Week Lays Down All The Time And Cries If You Touch His Leg..Well A Doc could Of Said I Think Its Broke X Ray Fee And Blood Work You Know The Dance...Well Not There..Examined Kitty-Kat And Said Don't think Its Broke Gave Him 3 Shots On The Spot Then Off Home with A Week Of Antibiotics and A Pain Reliever And Said Call Him Monday To Tell Him How He Is Doing ,,Its Thus Today...Then said No Improvement In A Weeks Time Then Xray In a Week I Will Also Be Taking All My Animals There As Long As He Is Open For Business..I Left Paying 100 Best Money Ive spent In A Long Time Opposed To 300

My dog Bella has been a frequent visitor of Dr. Caputo's, and he has been absolutely wonderful to her. Bella is my first dog, and she has been quite a handful, and Dr. Caputo and his wonderful staff have always answered my questions and reassured me that things were going to be fine with my little Bella. I want to thank everyone and let you know how much I appreciate you all!!!!!
The Staff are always friendly and helpful. I took on a large stray dog and Dr. Caputo and Dr. Middleton have helped me with his medical issues. My dog had multipul cuts to his neck and a broken leg when he was found. Dr. Caputo fixed him up like new and he came home. Then Wilson decided to eat something he shouldn't and he had to have emergency surgery for that. Dr Middleton took care of Wilson for that one. I Love the fact that the Dr's will answer any question's and they get backto you proptly when you leave a message. I will always trust Caputo's Doctors and staff with my dogs needs.
I enjoy walking into Caputo Animal Hospital and being greeted by friendly familiar faces. I have been going there for 10 years and will never go any where else. The receptionists are very helpful and make me feel welcomed. The technicians are always gentle and patient with my beloved pets. And trust me they are difficult patients. The doctors are very thorough and answer all my questions. There have been many occasions when my pets needed emergency care and they were able to see my pet. MANY THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF AT CAPUTO ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!

The front desk staff is incredibly rude, and seemingly arrogant. They don't even look up when you walk into the office, even to respond to a ""hello"" from me. (They didn't respond at all.) While waiting in the little room for a total of one hour, I noticed how filthy the room was. Old peeling wallpaper, spiderwebs, the lightswitch plate was ""white"", but, black with filth. The floors looked like they haven't been cleaned in years. Nothing about this office said ""well maintained"" or ""clean."" When the assistant brought my dog back into the room after a procedure, she tossed my dog onto the table, whirled around and left, and my dog ended up on the floor. I complained to the doctor about this, but he didn't seem to take it seriously. I told him, explicitly that I did not appreciate my dog being thrown at me, and I wanted him to speak to her about it. Still, he, dismissed it. Every time I have gone there in the past 5 years, (not often, mostly for yearly shots), I tell myself that I'll NEVER go back. But, I do, just because they have my records, and it's only for shots. This time, was the absolute last. I've had animals all my life, and I've never been in ANY Vet office that was so impersonal, rude, and insolent. I do NOT recommend this place.
A rating is required (above), and if I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. Or, ZERO. Since that is not possible, it gets the ""one star"".

LAST X-MAS, MY COCKER SPANIEL BECAME SICK. HE WAS 3 AND A HALF YEARS OLD. I DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH HIM. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO LOSE HIM. I LEARNED THROUGH DR. CAPUTO WHY NICKIE GOT SICK. THROUGH ALL THE TLC, MEDICATIONS, AND GOOD COMMUNICATION WITH DR. CAPUTO, NICKIE BECAME GOOD. I THOUGHT WHEN ALL THIS HAPPENED (AND NOT KNOWING MUCH ABOUT ANIMALS, BECAUSE THIS WAS ALL NEW TO ME) I WAS GOING TO LOSE HIM. BUT THANKS TO DR. CAPUTO I THANK THE GOOD LORD ABOVE MY DOG (NICKIE), BECAME HIS GOOD LIVELY SELF AGAIN!! YOU WOULD NEVER KNEW HE WAS SICK. MY FAMILY MEMBER'S WERE AMAZED ALSO. IT WAS A MIRACLE TO ME!! GWENN WELLS.
