We woke up at 630 am to find the furnace was dead; it was 5 degrees outside and 61 inside. We called Parson's at 8 a.m. and we were given a service window of 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. At 9:30 am, we got a call that a tech was on the way, and he arrived within minutes. He was friendly and had a diagnosis by 10:00. He gave us an estimate of about $400-$500 for replacement parts and labor -or- $1,700 for a new furnace. We decided on the replacement parts and there was no hard sell for the new furnace - that was appreciated. He left to get the parts and while he was gone, we reconsidered the new furnace and decided to go that route. We called Parson's back to tell them about our decision and they didn't bat an eye. They said they wouldn't have a crew available to install it until the next morning, so we started making arrangements to stay somewhere else for the night, but they called back a few minutes later and told us that they were able to get a crew in. By 2:30 pm our house was warm again. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional. There was no pressure to buy anything extra nor were there hidden charges and fees. I would recommend Parson's 100%.
