Winghouse of Daytona Beachside

Worst restaurant experience I've ever had!!!! There was 8 of us (6 adults/2 children) expecting to have a fun evening with good food and it was the exact opposite. We arrived and were told there would be a 40min wait which is expected. They did offer us 2 diff tables on opposite sides of the restaurant, we declined and decided to wait and eat as a family. About 30mins passed and our table was ready. They still sat us at 2 diff tables. The server was polite as they come at wing house but multitasking was definitely not a strong suit. We put in 5 appetizers, sodas and 1 mixed drink. We didn't get our drinks until the apps hit the table. Mom didn't receive her mixed drink yet either. Server excuse was they had to get more absolute vodka from the back. We had to remind her to get it twice. It's hard not to sound rude and nagging when we've been in this place for over an hr and still without a drink. She brought the drink and took our dinner order, we all ordered wings and they weren't they good. Slightly undercooked. Maybe do to the fact that they were rushed because she forgot to put in half of our orders. 4 of us got our food and 4 didn't. Her excuse was the kitchen cooked the order for the 4 people that sat at our table before us. My thoughts too, very hard to believe. Especially when I walked outside to the smoking area before anyone got their food and seen our server sitting on the dirty curb texting away on her phone. The kitchen didn't mess up, she did, because texting outside while working was more important that doing her job. By the time the unlucky half got our food the first half were already done eating. Our server never gradually cleaned off our table, so we were eating while all of our appetizer dishes were piled up on the table, I never received not 1 refill on my soda. My wife got up and refilled my drink herself because she's awesome like that (we were sat in the back right next to the garbage exit it looked like). By the end of our horrible experience, our server knew we were not satisfied on this night's dinner outing. So she took the liberty and lied again saying her manager was sorry for the inconvenience and gave us our mozzarella sticks and 1 soda for free. Come on seriously. We just asked for Togo boxes and threw up them dueces. Talk about a waste. Not only the money, but over 2 1/2 hours and ended up missing the firework show. Guess I've learned my lesson about wing house, not a place for family dinner. A place to get drunk and get waited on by pretty/dumb girls.

The wings here are the best I've ever had!
