Must go best animal store in town friendly environment, lots of animals ,and also have the two main shop pet, the albino raccoon (Caspar) and the ring tailed lemur(mo mo).

Disappointing.
Disappointing. I went to this store based on the good reviews below, but there weren't any great animals and I couldn't ever find a staff person to help me. Prices were high too. Bummer.

This place is what we have needed for a long time, been waiting for them to open for months, clean, knowledgeable, friendly. We in the reptile world have needed a place such as this and even if not into reptiles the fish are great also.......by all means even if you don't own either, it is worth a trip to see their place, Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!

These guys are the BEST!!
Regardless of if your are new or experienced to the reptile world you need to swing by Scales & Tails. This store is clean and professional while at the same time they are extremely knowledgable about products and reptiles. Very kid friendly and they love to answer questions. Another great point that keeps me coming back is that they are not pushy sales people telling we why I "have to" buy their products. They give you the facts and let you make your own decision. Go check out Scales & Tails you won't be disappointed!!
