Anyone considering a place for your family should consider The Cottages of Clayton. My sister has been dealing with Amy there and she has been so warm and caring. Our family is going through alot and my Dad is really bucking and wants to stay at home. We looked at other places to see who had the best service, was the cheapest, etc. The Cottages had all of the above, but they were not pushy like the rest. It really seems that she had the best interest of dad at heart. My sister was suppose to tour yesterday and Dad wouldn't go, Amy talked to her for over an hour and then stopped by the house with a card that said, "During this rough time know my thoughts and prayers are with you...here are some hugs and kisses" and a mug of Hershey Hugs and Hershey Kisses. This was on a Saturday evening. You just don't find people out there who care like these people do. I hope you will consider this place if you are ever in the place my family is. We have shopped the area and this place is way ahead of the others.

My father was diagnosed with alzheimers and our family wanted to keep him in his own home with my mother as long as possible. When I called I was greeted with an enthusiastic, optimistic person who was very knowledable and helpful. After a free in home consultation we hired Miami Valley Homecare and they have provided care for my parents for six months now. The caregivers are always patient, professional and helpful to my parents at all times. My parents look forward to them coming. They clean, cook and do anything my parents need done without prompting. If you know someone who needs assistance please let them know Miami Valley Homecare is a small locally owned home care company who treats each and every client and employee like family. We have no plans to change our parents living arrangements anytime soon. I believe they will be fine at home for a long time with Miami Valley Homecare. Sincerely, Judy L.
We just looked at this place and it is beautiful! We spoke to many of the people that live there (they were eating dinner when we toured) all of them are very happy and very talkative. We asked a man what he thought and he said he loved it and the nurses are great and quick to respond. We met the head nurse, the community manager, alot of nurses just took time to stop and talk to us and the owner was really nice too (he heard us getting ready to leave and made a point of coming out of his office to meet us before we left.) As soon as we can sell my brother's house we plan on moving him in here. Save yourself the trouble of looking at other places. Alot of them that we looked at were full or we weren't treated very well. One of them it was going to be $7200 a month. The Cottages are ALOT less, the people there seem really happy and the people who work there are so nice.
