Nasty unclean salon...hairstylist was an hour late...owner was denouncing demons to another customer...unfriendly...didn't cut like I asked...HORRIBLE experience for me and my daughter...do not waist your time

It is nice that the hair store is in the mall. I have been to this salon and I'm not going back again. The hair styles are ok but no one would break their neck or go all out of their way to say your hair looks phenomenal. I wanted to get a sew-in done. The owner ordered the hair for me and was going to do it for me. The day I scheduled to get my hair done there, I showed up and she said the hair wasn't there. For about a week and a half I kept calling back but she kept saying the hair wasn't there. I had set an appointment date because I needed it done before a wedding :/ didn't happen. I had to get someone to do a last minute style for me. After the wedding, the hair finally came. The sew-in was ok at first. She glued some pieces in at the front, but those pieces came out a week after, when I washed my hair. When I told her I did not like it, she got an attitude because I wanted her to do it again. She charged me for getting another sew-in and did not give me the leftover hair I bought. The hair was not even my hair color! Nice people but mediocre business.

Pros

Convenient location. Owner seems friendly.

Cons:

Appointments - Not taken on time, No shows (Stylist did not show up for scheduled appointment, didn't call in to Salon, made no attempt to contact scheduled client later)

Stylists - Skills seem to vary but most are mediocre

Conclusion - If you really need a last minute "hair job" and don't mind waiting then this may be for you. Be forewarned, it's more like a "pig in a poke" or "grab bag" or a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.

If I told my best friend about this place, I'd say: Keep looking
