I left a more detailed review on Facebook, with highlights below. Bottom line: Joe did not meet deadlines he set for the 4 projects I first brought to him. The fourth project was not only late (3 weeks after promised), but look like a rush job with very shoddy workmanship that I will not use because they look so amateurish.
First experience -- 3 projects. The sofa upholstery, window seat pillow cover and 4 small throw pillows all look great, well made. (I supplied all fabric.) Several days after the estimated date, I had to call to find out where my projects were in the pipeline..they had not been touched. They sat in his shop for well over 2 months. I felt his price for 4 the custom pillows was high, but like them so can overlook that.
Recently, I took in some counted cross stitch pieces to be made into pillows. (Again supplying all fabric.) I was told they would be done in a week. A month and 3 phone calls later, I was told they were ready. The pillows I picked up could have been made by an amateur seamstress. The edges were wavy, they were half-stuffed - very wimpy, and navy blue finishing topstitching to close the pillow did not match the cream colored pillow, I am embarrassed by the poor quality and will probably take them apart to remake myself, so I wasted $80 on these two pillows.
Beware of delays!

We have had several items of furniture reupholstered by this business...always with great results. Our "stuff" was done and a timely manner and delivered to our home.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY. TOOK COUCH TO HIM AND WAITED 2 MONTHS TO GET IT. SOGGY - NOT ENOUGH PADDING. APPARENTLY HE IS KNOWN FOR THAT. ALSO HAD CHAIR TO BE REUPHOLSTERED. THE CHAIR SAT FOR 2 MONTHS. HE CONSTANTLY SAID IT WOULD BE DONE SHORTLY, OR IT WAS ALMOST DONE. ALWAYS WITH EXCUSES ABOUT HIS EMPLOYERS NOT SHOWING, ETC. WE FINALLY WENT IN THERE TO FIND OUR CHAIR STILL SITTING IN THE SAME PLACE WE HAD PUT IT - NOTHING DONE. WE TOOK IT HOME AND ARE NOW LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PLACE TO REUPHOLSTER IT.



DO NOT USE - BAD BUSINESS GUY!!
