So far the best in Dayton. Unfortunately the specialty meat section is very slow in serving you anything. They have to clean the cutting machine and re-cover the ham in plastic before the give you what you are waiting for. I wish the owners will travel and learn on how this type of business are suppose to be run in France, Spain and Italy. The meats presentation is very poor. We decline to buy Prosciutto ham today when they have almost all fat and no meat. The Jamon iberico look was depressing and they expect to sell it at a high price like it was in a good condition. This store would go broke if it would be selling meats in any European Mediterranean country. I think we should still give thanks that we have it in Dayton, Ohio.
I think that this meijers store is always pleasant to be in. If you can't find somehing ther is always someone there to as. It's always neat and clean, and the people that work at this store are so friendly, and smiling at ya and telling ya to have a good day or night. I vote for this store to be number 1.... Everything is always in there places and if not you just ask and someone will help you! Store is doing well in my opinion, I think they go with if you have time to lean you have time to clean! Atleast at the Deli and they are very polite to ask you want you meat sliced and that is a good policy too!
I had to move back to London, Oh just over a year ago and I miss your fresh cut meat. I have been buying the meat here in London and I don't like their meat. Lately there meat has either been bad or going bad. So I had decided to come back to Dot's and get my meat. I'm going to order one of the bundle pack on Fri Mar 29 and hope to be able to pick up the next day (Sat Mar 30). It will be worth the 50 miles drive to Dayton to get the fresh meat. Thank You, Sonia Hazlett London, Oh
