General Info
Montessori International provides a full educational program for pre-school children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. These years are the most critical in your child's education. Even before entering elementary basic skills such as abstract thinking, concentration, self-discipline and concern for others can be developed in young children if the proper environment is provided.Our Montessori Learning Center provides such an environment in which the best is brought out in every child-in-mind, body, and spirit. Montessori International program and curriculum is based on the Montessori Philosophy developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Extra curricular activities such as dance, music, gymnastics, tae kwon do, and tots in motion are also provided for students to enjoy.Our school provides hot lunches, after school care, bus service, and a full summer camp program. Established in 1989 Montessori International is a 5 time recipient of the "Goal Seal Award " for excellence in Broward County. This award is presented by the Broward County Child Care Licensing and Enforcement Service.The staff Montessori International has such personal qualities as dedication, integrity, reliability, and stability. Each must have an optimistic attitude towards life, warmth, compassion, and sensitivity to the needs of all our children.The aim of our program and staff is to develop knowledge, self-awareness, self-esteem, independence, and the willingness to set a positive example of your child.

A Very Special Place

You know that a place is truly special when your little one can't wait to go back to it. Our son has been going to this school for almost a year and it is truly remarkable how much he has learned. Whether is shapes, letters, colors or numbers, he is always coming home with something new. The learning process at this place is great! Of course, there is also time for fun. The staff is Extremely caring. You can tell they are there for the right reasons - the kids! We are very happy that our son is attending this school. We feel so blessed to have such an amazing staff look after him and teach them the things he is learning. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a special place for the little ones to attend.

I am writing this review because my niece and nephew went to this school. I agree with all the bad reviews this school has gotten. This school deserves it. It is all true because I have endured most of it and I am only a relative. I went in the first time to get them and no one asked for ID but they did remind me to sign them out, I found that strange but most of all not safe.I could have been anybody. This school is poorly run. No I would not recommend this school to anyone.

I hate this school. The woman who runs this school has the worst attitude ever. This school is completely overpriced. The staff are not teachers. I really can't say anything good about this school and I am sorry I ever sent my son here. Awful!

went to see this school and I liked it but after about a month of being there I noticed it was not as they made it seem. My child was coming home in dirty pampers and her sippy cup was never drank from the time I dropped it off with her in the morning. She would be very thirsty when I picked her up When I asked the teachers about it they said they refilled it...with who's juice cause I would always have her extra juice still in her bag. I believe these people just can't handle the amount of kids they have in each class and they ignore most of the babies and toddlers. I am not recommending this school.
I also believe the owner/director wrote about her school in the reviews and gave her school 5 stars because the wording is how this woman speaks and these are some of things she uses in her welcome speech to you when your child joins the school. A very shallow and low thing to do for your own school.
Please look at how old most of the 5 star reviews are!!!! -

This place is terrible, the staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. The school is very expensive and the kids don't really get much out of this school. The nap time is too long (2 1/2 hours). It is one big open room almost like a daycare setting. The director of the school is almost never there and she doesn't return phone calls, no accident reports written (my child came home with a bruise by his eye and they said he had it when he came in... no he did not) They charge for everything (7 dollars for one child to walk to burger king) It is just a school that is in it for the money not the children. Do lots of looking before you decide about attending here.

I had my child in this school and I took her out she was not learning anything. I spoke to the owner/director of the school before I removed her and it was an all out war, she was very rude and loud and she tried her best to embarass me in front of her entire school. There is no professionalism in this school and she has teenage "teacher aide's" working with the kids, and the other teachers hardly speak english, they have no playtime and a 21/2 hour nap time, it's rediculous!!!! Not to mention this school is very expensive.There are many schools around the same area that are affordable and teach your child more than what they would get out of going to this school or should I say "daycare" because thats what it really is. Don't be fooled please everything seems great in the beginning but goes bad once you mention something you don't like about the school. Also the director won't let you do a walk through without an appointment so she can get her little show together to fool you into thinking this is a great school. DON'T BE FOOLED!! This school is a very cold place, you see children crying everday to not go in there, what does that tell you???

I inquired about this school because of all the great reviews it had online....I was very appalled at the horrible customer service this place has. The person I spoke to was rude, cold, and rigid. My experience with this school rates among the worst I have ever encountered. I’m glad that I found out the type of attitude the staff has before deciding to send my child there.

Your child's 2nd home...Ready to go to school?!
My daughter started in the infant room when she was 3 months old. The only way I made it through that difficult transition, her leaving my side, is knowing how much I trusted the Director and the teachers. The infant room carries a maximum of 4 infants. Perfect!
My daughter is now in the 2-3 year old class and when we ask her "Are you ready to go to school?", she responds, "Yes!" and jumps to the door to leave. She is confident, has made many friends and I am certain she has more personal attention and has learned much more than she would have at another facility.
The Montessori program is amazing, and a true value. The Director pays attention to each detail, individualizes learning, communicates well with parents and advocates for the children. Once you meet the staff, you'll know you've found your child's second home. -
A diamond in the rough....
I can not say enough about Montessori Int'l. It is truly an exceptional place for our children to learn and grow. The Directress is completely involved in the interactions of the staff as well as the children. It is extremely important for her to share lunch with the children, that is HER special time with them. The staff is attentive, nuturing, and a knowledgeable group. My son has been with Montessori for the last year and a half and I don't think I could have found a better learning center for him. He has grown from an 18 mo old baby to an almost 3 year old young boy who is excited and eager to learn. If you allow Montessori International to be the learning force behind your child, you will be amazed at what they will accomplish. Montessori is truly a diamond in the rough....

The Best
Patient, clean, happy environment for my two children to go to SCHOOL. It is a school, they learn and were happy to. They carried that thirst for leaning into "Big" School too. Thank you Montessori International; for peace of mind and wonderful experiences for me and my children.

I'm amazed on how kids behave so good. What impressed me the most is how they have learnt manners and how disciplined they are. Kudos for the team! -
Loving care School....
We like the school very much!! Specially the staff who are dedicated to the children and more important they show love and care for them. The Director is involved with the children, spends time with them and sits down with them at lunch time.
We had a very bad experience in a different school last year, and Montessory International has been a very positive change for us. -

Very Impressive
I am a parent of three children, two of which are teenagers and one is six. My six year old began Montessori International Pre-School when he was 4 years old. His vocabulary, reading and math skills, creativity and confidence had grown to levels that I had not anticipated -this is from preschool through kindergarten. The environment was nuturing, caring and mentally stimulating. I am very, very, thankful to the director (teacher) and other staff members who contributed to a most important time in my child's life.
