The worst animal clinic I know couldn’t even tell that my dog had cancer. I would definitely go somewhere else these people don’t know what there doing!

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Betterton. She is such a wonderful Vet.. She was instrumental in helping me adopt a dog due to my other dog having rather severe Separation Anxiety. She supported me through every step of the process. She helped me locate a beautiful and intelligent Female Cocker Spaniel. She is very down to earth and welcomes questions. She explains things in a simplistic fashion and has always been warm. In my experience, she is extremely knowledgeable and is able to diagnose the problem quickly. I drive a distance just because I have confidence in her abilities and know she will provide the best of care to my four legged babies.

I took a very sick puppy there yesterday since this was the closet vet to my home. The staff wouldn't even acknowledge me until I signed in. They wanted to take the puppy from me and I refused. They stated they could not have a sick puppy in the lobby and I was shuffled into an examining room to fill out paperwork. The paperwork required i give them a driver's license number which i felt violated my privacy. I was paying by cash so I did not provide it nor was I in the mood to dig through my purse while super concerned about Stella. A young woman collected the paperwork, perused it and stated they needed the DL info. I informed her my private info was none of their business. She left and another woman came in and stated they needed my DL or SSN or they would not render any services. I again stated it was none of their business and I was paying with cash. I was told to leave. I was already emotional and told her while heading for the exit, they didn't care about the animals just money and numbers. An old lady carrying a animal crate was blocking my way to get out and this staffer came running over to me getting way to close and stated leave now or I'm going to call the police. I asked her if she would like me to run over the lady on my way out. Finally I was allowed enough room to get out the door and drove my sick puppy 45 minutes to another vet. They had the exact same sign in paperwork which i completed in the exact same way and not one word was said about the missing DL info. What is wrong with these people? Am I the slave and they are the GODS demanding they know my private information? And what about caring for the 2.5 lb puppy with diarrhea and vomiting? It was 8:40 am when I arrived at their office and the first thing I noticed was the several piles of dog poop close to the front door and thought to myself, this is not a very good sign. Sorry I can't recommend this vet. The good news, Stella is going to make it thanks to the other vet.

No principles, no morals.

Please refer to the case of Franklin County vs Nancy Felter. This animal hospital put to sleep a healthy poodle named Daisy Mae at the request of her less than caring "owner". The owner has been taken to court many times over lack of care for her animals. Daisy Mae had recovered from Felter's "care" after 3 months at Franklin County Animal Hospital and had several people willing to adopt her, however, because Felter regained custody she was adamant that another person would not own her dog. This animal clinic put down the healthy and adoptable animal at Felter's request.

I would suggest that those in the business of helping animals stick to a high moral ground and not do something just because they will be paid.
