General Info: Quinebaug Valley Community College is a public, two-year, coeducational institution that offers various degree and certificate programs. Its library provides access to more than 30,000 volume book collection and over 120 current periodicals. The college has an annual enrollment of more than 1,700 students in credit courses and over 5,000 students in noncredit courses. It offers degree programs in aviation maintenance, business office technology, early childhood education, graphic design, liberal arts, medical assisting and fine arts. The college also offers certification programs in allied health science, community health work, patient care, networking and plastic technology. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Connecticut Board of Governors for Higher Education. Quinebaug Valley Community College is located in Danielson, Conn.
