Absolutely best methadone clinic I've ever been to. It's a 30 minute drive from my home and it's not in the best part of town, but it's well worth it. I tried a clinic in McKinney and Plano which were much closer to me but they were so unwelcoming, had a 3 week waiting list, was very judgemental and just made u feel bad for being an addict, as well as made u wait for at least 30 minutes in a waiting room with other addicts who arent very serious about getting help. At LSC, u are greeted with open arms, they're so kind and helpful and they uunderstand addiction is a disease and treat u as such, instead of as a criminal. Everyone is always very nice and open and willing to talk if u ever need. If ever there's a line, which is very rare, the wait is always very short, 5-10 min TOPS. They're so understanding that u have jobs and responsibilities and have to take time out of every day to drive out there to dose so they always help to get u in and out the door as quick as possible to get uon ur way. My counselor Jim is great, the nurse is great, the doctor is great, the owner, Keisha, is so wonderful. She's always there and is so involved in all of her patient's progress and treatment. The first day I walked in I was in so much pain, physically and emotionally, and ready to do anything to stop feeling the way I was, I opened the door and immediately started sobbing uncontrollably and she hugged me, grabbed me some tissues, and assured me I was in the right place, and she and everyone there was gonna do everything in their power to help and support me in my recovery. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful program, so worth the drive. So happy I found them. Privately owned clinics are so much better than corporate/govt. funded clinics that treat u like a number. They truly make a difference in helping u to recover.

This hospital deserves a five star rating!!! The Doctors and Nurses they have on staff are fantastic!!! I was of the ages of 14 thru 17 when I was hospitilized there! I went through Texas Oncology, and was in and out of the hospital every week!!!! Dr Charles White was my Oncologist, Dr Lazar was my brain surgeon, and Dr Daniels was my Nuerologist. I had the best care that anyone could have asked for!!! I believe that this hospital is one of the many reasons I'm still alive today! They have a very caring staff, right down to the cafeteria, and volunteer staff. As a child going through chemo, radiation treaments,. not two mention two major, and many minor surgeries, this hospital did their best to make this my home away from home. As scary as Cancer is, ecspecially at such a young age, the whole entire staff-nurses, Doctors, the admitting, radiology dept, everyone made me feel like I was family and that I was in the best care possible!!! I am suprised that this hospital does not have a better rating!!! If I was in charge of the rating system this hospital would have ten stars, because it is one of the nicest hospitals that I ever stayed at, and with my history I have stayed at many, including both Baylors, Garland, and Dallas! This is a fantastic hospital who hire only the best of staff!! I would like to thank them for doing so too! It made my life as a teenager bareable. I felt like a regular kid, I was surronded by a caring support team who had only my best intrest at heart, and you cant buy or find that kind of care anywhere but at Medical City of Dallas!!! Thank you, Jennifer Goode Bowen
Well, my mother received a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) from this hospital. Mind you, the right side of her heart is the worst. So they placed the pump. She stayed there about 3 to 4 more months after surgery. Then they decide to throw her in a nursing home where they know nothing about LVAD patients. Instead of doctors at UT doing their research as doctors, they were more hung up on my mothers emotional distress, and mental issues. These are doctors, aren't they supposed to research?? I just feel like they placed this pump in my mothers heart, then said ok we're done, bye! Oh, your mother can't get up, or walk, well we'll just throw her in a nursing home and just forget about this patient. Maybe this patient was too complex for doctors to deal with. I asked them several times, should I take her to Baylor heart? They simply said that Baylor would not accept my mother because UT put the pump in. So now I'm like well, who will be willing to help? If something happens to my mother, UT ST. Paul hospital would be the blame because they didn't event have the decency or professionalism to check on a patient with mental disabilities. Oh yea, they had a Nurse practitioner covering the case. That's like sending the weather man to give breaking news. These people have made my family's life HELL. Think they give a crap. Heck no!!
