I've Been training with J Sanchez at 10th Street Gym for over 13 years off and on. I came to him when I was 22 years old back 2003 oh. At the time I had no boxing experience whatsoever. I train with him for about a year and learned so much from this man. I am now 36 and just recently came back to 10th Street Gym to lace up the gloves again. Jay gladly brought me back in. If you're looking for a trainer I would highly recommend Jay. He's a great guy and an excellent coach. Nothing but High Praise for 10th Street Gym

A product of about a month and a half and I'm already confident about what I've learned in a few hours a day.

I have been practicing the sweet science of boxing for many years and without a doubt I learned more in one week of training with Jay than I have with any other trainer. 10th street gym is the real deal boxing gym with years of history. I am proud I met Jay, and am confident my boxing skills will only improve!

I've competed in 2 amateur boxing matches before my first training session with Jay last weekend. After training with Jay I understand that what I was doing before wasn't boxing at all. Jay got right to the point refining my movement and teaching me the correct way to throw a punches, combo's and how to think.

Other trainers will send you to the heavy bag to work or give you knowledge that you can pick up on Youtube. With Jay you are getting a 1on1 experience that will have you confidently going into any amateur fight.

If you seriously want to learn how to box I suggest that you give Jay a call.

I started working with Jay a little over a month ago after moving to Dallas. After 3 sessions, I learned more than I did in my 6 months of previous experience elsewhere. Jay's style of teaching and coaching along with his experience is what makes the Tenth Street Gym so great along with the face that Jay is also a great guy. This place is the real deal.

Repetition, repetition, repetition. He teaches you how to move, and how to think. He lays a solid foundation and works you up into a superb fighter. He isn't Only a coach, he's a mentor and father away from home.

Jay is the best Trainer and the most hands on mentor anybody could ask for. I've only been boxing here for 2 months and I've already learned so much and am moving up quick. I wouldn't be where I am today without Jay.
