Second Chance Treasures

This shop is manned totally by volunteers and have lovely things. They offer pickup. . .lovely people with t-shirts indicating they are volunteers for the shop. I've done very well there. I am moving and have donated three of my best pieces I cannot take with this major, out-of-state move. All profits, to include their three estate sales throughtout the year planned in Highland Park or Park Cities, are much-anticipated events in Dallas.

I discovered this by word of mouth from a friend--what a find! The area's best kept secret! This resale gift shop has small items, old antique type items, glassware, furniture pieces-large and small, pictures and more. Even pet items, which makes sense since they are a non-profit for the benefit of orphan pets. Since we all love our pets, this is a better place to spend money-it goe to a pet charity!

The woman who is owner or manager is a very unpleasant person. I would not visit this store again.
