This has become me & my husband favorite place to eat. The restaurant is very simple and didn't impress us much when we walked in. The reason we both love going there is cause of the food. It's very healthy & delicious middle eastern/ Persian food. Plus it's Halal which is wonderful as its hard to find few good choices of Halal restaurants. When we do in we have our usual order chicken kabob for me & my husband loves their lamp item with outstanding green rice!

It was one of the best mediterranean and persian places I've had in the area. I really liked the chicken kabobs with this sauce that they had. It had loads of flavor and it really hit the spot. My friends and I really had a good time. The way they decorated the place is really nice. I would suggest everyone should give this place a try.

Definitely NOT even close to authentic, very average service if you are in the Mideast, poor for the USA, place is clean (relatively) if u can ignore plates being stored 4 inches from the floor. Skip the water (I've had better in jail and parks), hummus is wrong color, consistency, and taste. Good luck eating it with a half ply pita cut into 1/8ths (one pita total). Beef tenderloin plate is - well if you have tried the steak fajita quesadillas at taco bueno - similar but not as good and overpriced. Rice is about ad bland as jail food, needs mad pepper and salt to feel like u aren't eating cardboard. Just go to Ali babas cafe in Richardson or Irving - same menu, kickass service, the best hummus, shishtawook, cheese Pies, better ambiance and price - and the most authentic in Dallas - I lived in the Mideast btw -
The best place to go for an early evening meal. The menu offers a variety of kabobs , but I recomend just picking one of the names you can"t pronounce. You"ll be very pleased with having been adventureous. everything from salads and appitizers are really good. The mint tea is recomended as a drink with the meal. Nice friendly atmosphere.

Sahara is by far the best Persian food in the city - forget the other places in DFW , this is much more authentic and fresh in a charming location. Plus - it's BYOB so you can bring along whatever you'd like! I use Sahara for Catering Services for my business parties and they all just love the food. Honestly, you should go to SAHARA
Very Healthy, Authentic, Fresh Persian/Mediterraneon Food.
Service is very nice and fast.
Nice Environment and Atmosphere
Also, I use Sahara for Catering to my Business and all our employees love yet.
I highly Recommend Sahara.
A beautiful restaurant decorated in the traditional way with a hint of modern times. Excellent and quick service. Delicious food. Had a great dining experience. Also, went for lunch the other day and tried their lunch buffet, and it was incredible, the variety of foods they have on the buffet is amazing.

We enjoyed it very much. It was romantic setting. We brang a bottle of red wine with us. The food was very authentic, great menu, great service and moderately priced. Our friends were vegetarian so they enjoyed the varied choices on the menu.
Very interesting food, beautifully prepared. The real tastes of Persia. The service was excellent, food timely, etc. Wait staff really knew each dish well and helped us experiment with a positive outcome. Fun to try to figure out the spices used in each dish. We will go again soon to try something else on the menu, Highly reccommended.
Every time I have eaten here its been fantastic. The food is very reasonably priced, and the flavors are delicious and unique. Its a great place to go out to dinner because its probably something you wouldnt make at home, so worth spending the money on! The atmosphere is wonderful and cozy. And the service were soo nice and helpful

Really great Persian/Mid East food with a fantastic atmosphere. The wait staff are very professional and the servings are huge. During the day they also offer a really nice lunch buffet wich is priced great and is a good way to get to taste a lot of new dishes. For dinner the atmosphere is really nice and makes a good location for a romantic dinner for 2 or even a family or bussiness dinner. Plus its BYOB. Try their kabobs, their fantastic, I mean really fantastic. Give it a try

Sahara's is a favorite of mine because every dish is so packed with unique flavor, the waiters are fabulously kind and the prices are decent. Whether you decide to order meat or veggie you will have plenty to choose from. Their hummus rocks your taste buds and all of their kabobs are amazingly delicious. They get a perfect rating because service taste and setting are all equally wonderful. Please try Sahara's. You won't be sorry!!

We went here this weekend for a romantic date night meal before a movie. I'm not that familiar with Persian food and as a vegetarian, I expected it to be a difficult situation. Totally wrong! My husband loves kebabs and knew what to order right away. I wasn't so sure and consulted with our server who ended up being the owner. He was incredibly helpful and nice and his recommendation of a vegetarian eggplant stew was right on. I really enjoyed the stew with their saffron rice. The eggplant spread appetizer was incredible and paired with a nice glass of wine and the finish of a petit piece of bahklava, it was a very nice meal

I've been a Sahel Sahara customer for the past 5 years and this is why: 1. They use all natural ingredients (NO M.S.G. Chemical!) 2. Best Customer service (much better than Fadhis) 3. High Quality and very scrumptious foods! (better than Fadhi's, etc) 4. Family owned and very nice ""homey"" atmosphere 5. Always prepare food ON TIME.
