When I lived in Uptown, I loved going to Manny's. It's a very casual Tex Mex restaurant with so many different meals to choose from. Great for groups and great for a few people equally. The food was delicious and consistent each time. The portions a good sized, just enough to get you full (if you aren't already full from the chips and salsa!)
Meah, not sure if it's worth the price tag. Yuppy central
Great Tex Mex!
This is one of my new favorite Mexican food places. It is the best food for the price. I love everything I get there. And their alcohol is very inexpensive and good. It is a fun environment, good food, and great service. I would recommend it to anyone :)

I always love Manny's. Every time I've been there (numerous visits over the past few years) I've had good service and good food. The value is great.
I think because of its location it seems like the holy grail of tex-mex, but it's really not. this was more of a newer generation of tex-mex,not the authentic kind. decent, yes, but not exceptional. too crowded and cramped. go downtown to el fenix, at least its iconic owner and legend of tex-mex authenticity still greets you at the door, even after 50+years!

You must try the Brisket Tacos or Brisket Nacho's or anything with their Brisket for that matter. Absolutely wonderful. The best Margarita's around. Definately a must on you list.

I too was disappointed that the Frisco location closed. I live in the area so it was very convenient on the weekends to get my Brisket Taco fix. Oh well there is still Addison & Uptown (worth the drive).\r I feel sorry for the person who said they would never go to another Manny's because of the way the Frisco location was closed. Sometimes things happen! You truly dont know what your missing. By far the best ""Authentic Mexican Food"" in the Metroplex Hands Down.

I am so upset. You had a restaurant in Frisco. Quite a few of us from our office showed up for lunch and no one was there. No one even bothered to put a sign of anykind. We are really disappointed as the food was wonderful and the staff was amazingly nice. The owners should be embarrased. I don't think I'll visit your restaurant in any of your other locations as the behavior of management is completely unacceptable. Unbelievable!!!!!!
good food, not sure if it's worth the wait. Nice to bring out of town guests.......quaint restaurant.
Even when Manny's is packed with guests, you receive great service, food in a timely manner and fresh tasting. It's worth visiting over & over again and they have a great Happy Hour. The salsa is the best in Dallas.

As people have noted, this place has a similar menu to MiCocina but to me the food tastes fresher or more natural. The prices are better too, and margharitas are just as good for a few dollars less! Service is much better and friendlier too.

This is our favorite casual Mexican food spot. Owned by the brother of Mia and uncle of Mico, very similar recipes to Mia's and mi cocina. More causal than uptown micocina's but better than mia's for a night out because of the location and more updated restaurant.\r Brisket Tacos are the best thing on the menu, but the fajita salad is great with their home made dressing. \r Margaritas are strong!

are the best! Definitely must try! Don't miss the great patio out back. Nice and shady to kick back with a margarita and escape the hot Dallas summer!

We loved Manny's and we have lunch there at least once a week. We have frequented several of the Mexican restaurants in the Dallas area and I must admit, we only dine at Manny's now. Their food is great, their service is great and their prices are very reasonable! We have tried several items on the menu and have been bragging since our first visit.

Had heard about this place. We ate here when it was Guethries, and loved it. Sorry Guethries has closed. Well this place I wasn't impressed at all. If there was a choice of Manny's or El Fenix, I'd go to El Fenix next time. They're trying to be fancy. Things as simple as nachos, maybe 20 large chips on a plate with big globs of cheese, and what we thought we had order was fajitas, what we got was hunks for thinly sliced chicken, was not even close to fajitas. Oh yeah, they dont have refills on soft drinks, they bring you a canned coke. Will not be going back.
