Having traded here successfully in the past, I saw no reason not to entrust LCS with refinishing [only] the top of a treasured find. They considered the table's value at $400 but it is not for sale. Carefully stored, they would say, the table returned with mars and scratches not there before. The primary had been stained and the table top has a heavy coat of wax. The entire table must be redone. Their quote was high, but I had no reason not to trust them. They are not registed with BBB-Dallas so this is my only venue.
