My fiance and I LOVE this restaurant. Our first visit was several years ago on Valentine's Day; the service, specials, drinks, wine, food - everything was perfect! My fiance had the duck special, and I had the filet with chef's toppings. Wowza, this food was good. Several years later, we are still regulars, and even though the menu is seasonal and changes often, there are a few staples that we love: to start, the bread with dipping oil is so yummy, I think I could make a meal out of just that! For appetizers, the crab portobello mushrooms and calamari are fabulous; for the main course if you order any of the chicken dishes they are superb; the filet is always good; the sauteed spinach is just heavenly; deserts are awesome (cherry chocolate one is my fav); and drinks are made well. We usually get a bottle of wine b/c the wines by the glass are overpriced; however, even when we get mixed drinks, they make them well. The service has ALWAYS been excellent for us; we always have very attentive waitstaff and bussers, and have always been seated promptly. I do recommend reservations. Overall, this restaurant has its own ""flavor"" that we just can't find anywhere else. The atmosphere is beautiful and romantic. We love, love, love, Ferre and will continue to go for many years.
