WE HAVE MADE FOR TRIPS TO BIG AL'S EACH TIME I WAS WAITING TO BE DISSAPOINTED INSTEAD EACH VIST WAS GREAT.
THE BEEF IS MOIST AND SMOKEY, THE RIBS ARE THE BEST AND THE SAUSAGE IS JUST LIKE THE HILL COUNTRY.

I don't get to Dallas very often unfortunately, but Big Al's is my number one stop. I have never had a bad meal there and my only problem is to keep myself from eating everything at one sitting. I have to make more than one trip there.

Big Al's really made my company event great. They were very professional and had everything set up just the way I wanted. The food was great, just as good as in the restaurant. My guests kept going back for more and Big Al's kept them fed and happy. I will definately use them for my next party.

I have been going to Big Al's since I was a kid. My dad always took me, and it has been my favorite ever since. I have visited almost every barbecue in Dallas and Austin, and I still think Big Al's has the best food and the yummiest sauce ever! Whenever I'm in town, I make it a point to stop by and get my fix! YUM!!
I have been going to Big Al's since I was a kid. It is absolutely the best and most authentic BBQ I have had anywhere in Texas! I moved away from Texas a few years ago, and every time I visit my family, Big Al's is the first place I have to eat! I recommend going on Saturdays when it's always Pork Rib Basket day. YUM!

I may be a red neck but I have eaten BBQ all over this country, including all the so called great South Texas establishments. I was taken to Big Al'S about 20 years ago. Now I take my clients there whenever I can. Their food is always great, just go their for lunch and see the lines. I have also had them deliver food to customers and I always get great results.\r \r I agree with those other reviews-about the very negative reviews being bogus.

I received horrible service from this restaurant. They just didn't seem to care that my husband and I were there. I really hated the people that worked there because they were just plain rude. I drove pretty far to go to this restaurant because I thought it would be good but that was just a waste of gas. I have tasted way better barbeque from other restaurants for cheaper than this place. Their food was barely ok but I would never say it was good. I am never going back to this place and I am never going to recommend it to anyone.
I used to go there after every doctor's appointment at Saint Paul Hospital. Love the food, and the dessert!

The BBQ was burnt and dry. The service was horrible. No management. Cold food. Dry Brisket. Stale vag. If I could talk to big al i'd slizap him in his face(with words) then defecate on his head with contipated laziness, then i would force feed him his defecation brisket, then give him vinegar water to wash it down with. This is what my trip to big al's was like. I give it one star for originality in that i've never actually paid for dry brisket but if that's what's hot right now(stale dry beef) then that's what's hot right now. I'll prolly never see al to defecate on him but if i do he better get his unbrella cuz it's gonna rain contipoo. Later

I agree that the bad review has to be a competitor. I still live here and while i don't go regularly I recommend it to anyone who asks me for the best barbeque in town. Their ribs are fantastic!

Wow! What is that guy talking about? I think this is by far the best BBQ in Dallas. And the ribs and sauce are the highlight! I recently moved away from Dallas, and I don't ever miss the chance to eat at Big Al's when I'm home for a visit. In fact, I actually have Big Al's shipped up to me in the cold Midwest once in a while. \r \r Sorry dpman, that review makes me think you're not for real. Looks like something the competition would write.

Ok folks, this joint probably have the worst pork ribs I've ever had in my life. They were tasteless and burnt; I'd give the sauce 3 out 10. I should have known better based on the lack of reviews. My search will continue for the best barbeque in Dallas.
