I presented my midnight blue bruised hip and knee to Dallas based Janet Taylor’s therapeutic massage for relief of trauma, hematoma and inflammation. I was unstable and could barely walk after a stunning fall on a treacherous mountain trail. Janet surmised the situation and immediately began her work. On her table, beneath her intelligent and trustworthy touch I went into a welcomed deep relaxation. I felt muscle, tendon, tissue and bone relax and shift into a more stable alignment. My torqued hip stretched knee tendon and twisted ankle relaxed. My spine settled into a straighter alignment then too. I felt like bubbles of swelling and pain were melting into a soothing salve inside me. Janet patiently worked on me for a couple of hours and when it was time for the session to end, I sat up, as if from a long, well deserved refreshing journey to my favorite place. What I gleaned from this session is that, while my injury was deep, the resulting inflammation was optional. Immediately, I bent my knee in a normal, supportive position that was impossible prior to Janet’s expertise touch. Once the swelling was addressed, the bruises quickly healed over the next few days and I was able to resume my mobility. Janet opened my lymphatic system to allow the healing wisdom of my body to get to work. The relief I received from Janet’s nurturing, expertly skilled hands has been permanent. I have recommended Janet’s clinical therapeutic massage to my post-operative friends, to my chronically injured and arthritic friends, and to anyone in the need of therapeutic massage and touch that really works. Janet Taylor’s hands listened to my body from the inside out and she gave my body what it tacitly asked for. I am so grateful to have experienced Janet’s knowledgeable, beneficial touch. I can recommend her clinical therapies wholeheartedly. Jana Rothenberg Koloa HI
Janet is Amazing. She has a kind personality and her massage worked for me. She gave me the massage my body needed to prepare for surgery and to heal a old back injury. I had almost no swellingafter my surgery. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a clinical massage.

I went here to get a massage and was hassled after it was over to get into a membership. I was told by the lady at the front desk I could cancel at any time. NOT TRUE! I did not wish to use the membership any longer after multiple bad massages and unprofessionalism. I was told I could not cancel…
BIA was my masseuse. She can give a very good massage. I had the original Thai massage which includes a lot of stretching. She can adjust the massage to fit whomever comes by. I just prefer the Thai massage
This is the best place in Dallas that I have found for deep tissue massage. My wife and I both like a good deep tissue massage and found that the therapists there were exceptional both times we went. I highly recommend Massage by Design.

The best nails salon on forest lane & Preston rd I have been going here for years. I actually drive by several nails salons on my way to this one, but it is worth it. Every time I have gone I get wonderful service. I will say my reviews are for the spa pedicure only. I rarley get a manicure (I have my own nails and do them myself). The massage is always great - I have taken friends who typically go to other salons and they have all commented on how long the massages are. I usually call ahead since the salon is popular and can get busy. Sometimes you have to wait so I try and avoid going in on the weekends. My pedicures have always been wonderful and I always leave with great looking toes. I do splurge and get the callous remover and even though I think they have a wide selection of colors, I always bring my own polish (in case I need to do a touch up in between pedicures). I stopped going to other nail salons because it wasn't relaxing. I was constantly being bugged to get a flower, get a longer massage, get a salt scrub, etc. When I go to this salon, I don't get bombarded with a billion requests. The peple are polite and friendly, although I admit that when I get the massage I close my eyes and relax and I prefer not to chat the entire time. Reasonably priced and well worth it!
I was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma BC in March 2011. After going through about two chemo sessions, my boss asked me, “What would you like to do after you are through with the chemo?” My response was a full body massage. She then said, well we can do that now. She searched the internet and found Janet Taylor’s website. Janet’s website talked about massages for chemo patients. On my first visit with Janet, I was very weak. My appetite and water intake were low. I could only work a few hours a day. We talked for about an hour, simply getting to know one another. I told her about all of my side-effects. She gathered different essential oils to use in my body massage. After my massage, I immediately felt better. I felt energized and peaceful. I was able to eat and drink water. Janet’s massages are very delicate and soothing. She relaxes you and before you know it you are asleep. The essential oils that she uses helped so much. Not only do you feel better, you smell divine. If you are a chemo patient, I recommend that you give Janet a try. She really helped me bounce back from my chemo treatments.
Woodward Chiropractic is the place to go if you want to get your problem diagnosed and corrected. Dr. Woodward explained what was causing my back problems, then presented a plan to include office visits, exercises and other home treatment. I was lacking in faith and trust after the last chiropractor I went to promised me results that were not delivered. I spent a lot of time and money but still had no information about what was causing my back spasms and what it would take to correct or improve the situation. If you are like me and don't have a lot of patience for BS, you will appreciate the no-nonsense approach of getting to the root of the problem and working up a plan for improvement. Massage is offered as well, staff is friendly and appointments are easy to schedule. After reading a LOT of online reviews, I decided to see Dr. Woodward, and I drive about 45 minutes each way to do so. If you are frustrated with your current care or have given up altogether, do yourself a favor and give Dr. Woodward a try.
I first met Janet Taylor when my daughter was hospitalized for severe pain. My daughter has had a kidney and liver disease since birth. Janet’s techniques provided more relief than any of the pain medications she was given. Through Janet’s acute sensitivity to what is going in the bodies of her clients, she was able to pinpoint the cause of my daughter’s pain, a metal allergy aggravated by her braces. She has continued to work with my daughter in the six years since, helping her cope with her advancing disease, which led to a combined liver and kidney transplant in December 2009. Since the transplant, therapy with Janet has significantly aided my daughter’s recovery. I recommend Janet Taylor without reservation. There are few clinical therapeutic massage therapists as skilled and talented!
I went to see Janet because I had unexplained swelling in my shoulder. The inflammation was so bad you couldn't see my collar bone. Janet asked if I had suffered any type of injury recently and the only thing that came to mind was a severe jellyfish sting I had about two weeks earlier. She worked on me for about an hour and the result was amazing. Instantly most of the inflammation was gone and I had no more pain. She did some sort of lymph drainage and could also tell that I had been having problems with my allergies. I have had other massages but nothing like this! I will be a client for as long as she'll let me! Thank you Janet! Her office is easy to find and very relaxing. You'll be hooked!
Elite Chiro truly takes the time to get to know & understand their patients. Dr. Allen Nguyen and Cristal Barco, Massage Therapist not only helped to get rid of the pain I was feeling daily but also improved my way of thinking about my body and life style. I've been visiting for the past months due to back & neck pains from daily activities such as sitting at the office, carrying or lifting heavy objects, bike riding etc... They are conveniently located in the Uptown/Midtown area. A great place to seek natural healing without medicine. My insurance was accepted...yay another plus! Thanks to them I am living such a healthier & happier life style.
Dr. Woodward is the best chiropractor I've ever been to. He is extremely thorough and caring and takes his time to make a complete evaluation every time you walk in the door. He also sends you home with instructions on exercises to improve whatever part is ailing you. I felt totally at ease from the first visit and he doesn't push you to sign up for any more than what you need like some places I've been to. The entire staff is super sweet and flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend Dr. Woodward for urgent chiropractic needs as well as ongoing well body maintenance.
Recently my long term disc/nerve issues climaxed with my leg & back side in such pain I had severe cramping and siezing. Hard to stand & walk. Following the massage my pain was GREATLY reduced. Trigger points were relieved. I could walk upright again. Bought a multi pack immediately. CAUTION: Don't think you will scan the building and find this place. The door is NOT labeled with "Serenity", "Spa", or "massage". You must remember it is #411, and don't give up until you find it hidden around the hallway corner!
Dr. Buchanan has been my chiropractor for the past 5 years and I wouldn't think of switching him for another. I can walk in with horrible allergies, sinuses and/or a headache, and I immediately see results after my adjustment. He is very knowledge and professional at what he does, comparing to other chiropractors that I have been to. Needless to say, I always call Dr. Buchanan before calling my family physician. Therefore, I highly recommend Dr. Buchanan if you have similar symptoms, any muscle pain and soreness, etc.
