I've eaten here both in groups and alone and never been disappointed. One minor gripe with most sushi restaurants is the turn-around time between ordering and food delivery...Sushi Zushi has it figured out. I have never waited more than 15 minutes for my sushi order, and it generally arrives in under 10. They have a variety of specialty house rolls, but I generally stick to the traditional favorites here. Their Unagi is exceptional (I get it every time and eat it last, it's like dessert [although not sweet, don't be mislead]). The Spider roll is top-notch, and the roe they put in their roe offerings is very well-chosen with great flavor. If you're something of a sushi conneisseur but dining on a budget, you can get 3-4 orders for about $30. When I dine alone, I generally get 3 orders (rolls/sashimi) and walk away only $22-23 poorer (I order water). It's a shame more people don't know about this restaurant because the storefront isn't visible from Oak Lawn Ave., but they recently wised up and put a sign at street level directing patrons to their location behind Benihana. They also deliver sushi, although I have never ordered delivery.

From Business: Japon has the best of both worlds. Two favorites are served under one roof, steak and Japanese style cuisine. All the formal elegance of a Japanese style restaurant…

I had seen this place but never had an interest in stopping in until I was checking out at the Tom Thumb just a few doors away. A young man named Crockett told me they have the best wings way better than Wingstop when I told him I was on my way to Wingstop to pick up an order. 3 days later for lunch I decided to visit after viewing their website the food looked so good, I was excited to try their food and I wasn't disappointed . I ordered the chicken philly cheesesteak combo that comes with wings , celery sticks, pink lemonade and ranch dressing. I ordered lemon pepper wings. Since they were out of menus I wrote their menu in a notebook I had in my purse. I ordered a side of french fries when I noticed on the menu they wouldn't be part of the combo I ordered. I was totally satisfied and amazed how good the chicken philly cheesesteak was it is to die for. I have a new hot spot not far from work or home that I can visit. I took a pic and posted it on facebook to let friends know of this little gem.
Being Chinese, I am very picky about my Chinese food and I've had a hard time finding a place that is decent that isn't a trek away from home. My search ends at Royal China because they have not only great dishes that are exceptional in presentation and taste, they also have delicious dim sum-like dumplings that can quell anybody's hunger. Whether your in the mood for a feast or just a few bites, this is the place to go. You can tell the owners put their heart and sole into this restaurant and their warm and generous personalities make you feel right at home. You can ask them any question or for a recommendation and they're more than happy to help. Dining at Royal China is a personal experience. It is a genuine hidden jewel of a restaurant that much of Dallas has yet to discover. For those who have unearthed this mainstay of 34 years, we are fortunate enough to know that we can always count on this great establishment for a memorable and delicious meal.
