Greeted by a very sweet older lady. She is the nicest lady and can really move as nd get around. Always cheerful even when there are lines out the door! The food is great! Should really be classified as as a diner given all of the homestyle meals! I prefer the onion rings or the tater tots myself the fries need to be crispier and more seasoned and do not hold up well if taken to go. There used to be a fast and friendly girl working the window a few years back and it would be great if she came back! She always for my order right and it seems as though the food came out faster. She was loud but she seemed to take charge and I like that. I think she was the supervisor anyhow this place is definitely a great place to eat and you can always expect as great Burger at or around the same price as a chain place but this place is homecooked!
I ordered the house Liberty Burger (with bacon of course), a side of sweet potato fries, and an adult shake (yes, that's a thing here). The burger, cooked medium as I asked, was very juicy and delicious: they nailed the sweet fries too, not over fried and not overly crispy. The adult shake, The Lebowski, was a delicious Kaluha infused milk shake that was very tasty. Wish the straw was wider as I think I pulled a muscle trying to use their teeny tiny straw to drink it. Place is noisy: loud music with no attempt at controlling unnecessary loudness in general: staff are friendly and it was otherwise enjoyable to dine in.
I will have to agree with the rest of the reviews that Chips has the best tasting burgers in Dallas! When we were first dating, my boyfriend and I went there and ordered two huge burgers and their regular fries and sweet potato fries. I was never a fan of sweet potato fries until I tried theirs! SO GOOD!!!! Crispy, yet tender and slightly more healthy than the regualr fries, but who cares! Our meal was as greasy and GREAT as it needed to be! Would go back in a "heart attack..." I mean heartbeat. LOL!
