We recently spent half a day in the building. There are several dealers throughout and a very nice Larger dealer (Jayroe Design) in the back center of the building. All the booths had good deals and quality pieces, but Jayroe's has the really nice pieces including Huge Doors, Russian Art, and they build custom furniture that really looks 200 yrs old. The frame shop in the back corner was a nice stop too. The do quality work and prices seemed really fair. The other 2 main stops were the jeweler who does repairs and the excellent tea room. The food was delicisious and good prices. Take a day off and enjoy this place with your significant other!
I recently stopped into Jayroe's Antiques and Jayroe Designs. I think they are 2 stores inside of one space. Anyway, one does custom built furniture and the pieces are amazing. I believe all hand tooled work. The other business is all Eurpean Antiques and they are super nice pieces. I really enjoyed my time there. The lady who works there (I think the owner) was very sweet and super helpful. I recommend a visit for anyone that has the time. I wish my whole home was done with their pieces!
Absolutely an amazing selection of merchandise, with something for every taste. Mid Century Modern Chairs & Tables mix with 18th Century Italian Chests. The Art is just as varied with Eames Era Industrial Landscapes, 19th Century Japanese Woodblocks, 20th Century Art Photography and 18th /19th Century Landscapes and Portraits. Plan to spend some time, eat some jelly beans & peanut butter crackers while the staff offers you another cold water!
