My experience at Stevens Transport has been nothing less than spectacular! Sure you may say "this guy is just writing this," but it's true! Everything has been realistically better than I could have hoped. I will explain. I, by nature am a planner. I can't do anything without thinking it through first, I once heard, "not having a plan is a plan to fail." That has stayed with me my adult life and now knowing that you will understand why "spectacular" is my word of choice. Anyway, I initially chose Stevens Transport because of the Stevens website. At that time it had more information than any other trucking company website and I searched all I could find. There I saw the Kenworth T2000 and fell in love! Stevens has great newer equipment, something you will not find at some other trucking companies. I was also introduced to Alliance Leasing, back then I knew nothing of leasing, I called and learned first hand it is one of the best lease programs in the industry and reading about it brought excitement and a plan. I came to Stevens with a plan for success! Finish training and become an Owner/Operator and its been a dream come true! I could not have planned it better! I had my T2000 during my trainee team and grad phase, I named her Old Blue, she was the greatest truck! Today I drive Bullseye, a 2011 KW T700 again the newest and best equipment on the road, she's named after Woody's horse from the Toy Story movies. In closing, again I could not have planned better. Yeah some days are better than others, but it's all about planning, and everything has gone smoothly. One year into my Alliance lease, I have a first year safety patch and an MPG Master's pin and a savings account with commas in the balance, something I've NEVER had before. In a word, "Spectacular!" If I can offer some advice, dream, and then make a plan and work your plan to see your dream(s) come true, it's okay to have more than one. Why you should come to Stevens Transport? Stevens is all about success and will help you achieve it! You will find we are a family that helps, you can always get help from another driver or call the yard. My truck number is 9721. What I like most about Stevens is the fact that no matter what the situation is, if I have a question that I do not know the answer to, there is always someone to turn to in order to get correct information. Safety is the primary focus at this company and I know that I will never be asked to do anything shady or beyond what my limitations are within my comfort level. Talking with other drivers, I always try to emphasize the training and the availability and accessibility of the trainers. The training is top notch unlike many other companies where you get a license in 3 weeks and you are immediately out on your own. Stevens ensures that you have the confidence to operate on your own before you drive solo. They will always have your back you as long as you follow the procedures outlined in the company policies. Why should someone drive for Stevens? It is simple: newer and well-maintained equipment. We have some of the sharpest trucks and trailers on the road and when you experience an issue out on the road, help is only a phone call away. I have empathy for you as I just finished moving my apartment, and I can confidently say that your search for a mover is done! The prices are not only competitive, but the quality and professional staff will exceed your expectations. The movers showed up early and turned a 3.5 hour move into under 2 hours, all while making sure everything stays in pristine condition. No items were damaged and no marks were made in either apartment. The movers ensured that all delicate items were properly wrapped up with extra attention. For the cost: The manager is a stand up man and will tell you up front what your rates are, and I can attest that there are no hidden fees or costs. I paid $99 per hour, with a $45 fixed fuel charge, for a total of $243. The movers were working hard from the time they showed up until they finished the job. There was not a second of down time. I have never been so happy with a moving company, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to move in the DFW area. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
