I have been going here for years. One of my favorite restaurants. Great food and drinks and atmosphere.

We love to hang out in a big comfortable booth in the bar for hours watching the band, playing Keeno and winding down from a busy week. Try the HUGE shrimp coctail loaded down with shrimp...yummy. And be sure to try a pitcher of the Texas margaritas. The house version is not very good at all, so don't waste your money. But that is about the ONLY bad thing we have to say. Families can dine on the family side and if you want more liveliness, choose the bar side which is loaded with flat screen tvs and tables as well as booths. A favorite!

The chicken soup is excellent. It tastes very fresh and I love that they use fresh avocado in it. My favorite dish is the Carnitas Urapan. It is pork with onions and comes with a cactus salad. I have eaten here a few times now and have not ever been disappointed.

i haveto say, we were very excited when we saw Del Rio was finaly open. we have eaten at cielito lindo and found it to be just average.



we love mexican food. that is an understatement. our usual hang out is dos copas and probably will remain that way for now. that food at del rio was very good on our first trip. on our second time the food took a very long time to get there and was cold. fajitas are expensive and when they come out cold on the platter the entire experiance is lost. the sizzle and smoke is the best part.



the bar staff couldnot keep up with the demand at all. and to top that the two guys that were bartending had the worst attitude. people sit at the bar to eat for atmosphere (fun bartenders).



the management has a lot of work to do training the staff. we have not given up on del rio yet, but to be competitve around this area there is a lot of work to do.



we have seen and met the owners on each visit and they seem like very nice people. i hope things dont go south.
